My take is that he loves where he came from, and wants to give back to his neighborHOOD.

Probably more than he did in rehab... funny he is loyal to LSU because Miles stood by him and helped him. yet people want to celebrate him because now he represents LSU but want to run off the man responsible for him pimping LSU....

There certainly could be several meanings, but most likely:

Carrying all the hopes and dreams of his neigborHOOD on his back. Or carrying their support.

Agreed. Maybe, instead of retiring numbers, LSU could hang jerseys with names on them in a prominent spot in the stadium. Peterson. HB, and Fournette all were/are special talents.

Yea HB was a monster on the field. I would have been ok sweeping more stuff under the rug if we could have.

So were Rohan, Tyler, Faulk, Northern, D. Bowe, M. Clayton, A. Fancea, K. Mawae, etc....

so how many numbers you want to be retired? I mean we could go back into the 80's, 70's, 60's, etc of great players who would be justified in having a jersey like the 3 you mentioned.
