Your point is too complicated for some here. The same drones that think we should grin and bear it with biased football scheduling.

But I am a fan of the game which has to have balance which includes HRs off of pitching mistakes.

I agree.

Fans like to see the HR.

The NCAA---not so much.

Keep the bats Keep the stadium Change the balls to a pro ball with .5mm seams, not the 1mm ones.

for anyone who things the park isn't part of the reason please watch this video

LINK

if you to lazy to watch

if they didn't change teh bats

a ball that goes 340 to left field lets say in blatt in fair territory. Thanks to the new park and its geography goes 325 in this park. Add the new bat in its goes 305.

So a home run ball in blatt that would be a no doubter would just clear the fence in this park with the new bats.

Oh yeah the stadium has cross winds alot so its even harder to hit the ball out to left (which is most common) A homerun ball iln the blatt to leftfield would be 20 feet foul.

I think a perfect example of this would be the two homeruns in the 2000 CWS. Even with the old bats, Jeremy Witten would have flown out to the warning Track and Blair's ball would have bone 20 feet foul and wouldn't have cleared the fence if it stayed fair.

Also Warren Morris' home run ball falls just shy of warning track. (maybe an out if the outfield is playing back)
