Friend of mine who is friends with several members of the Destrehan coaching staff told me that McCarthy told the Destrehan coaches that if Molton continues to progress the way that he has so far that he will be one of the best wr's in LSU history.

People keep forgetting about this guy. He will be a contributor sooner than most people think.

What kind of Wr will he be? I heard someone say he was faster than Byrd.

Don't know, but that would be impressive if here were faster than Byrd.

Byrd had the third fastest 40 time this year behind Trindon (wasn't timed but you have to assume he is the fastest) and Daniel Graff.

He is supposed to be very strong. Tommy Moffit said on one of the BR Sports Talk Shows that he was excelling over everyone in the weight room. He was the first player mentioned by Moffit and he praised him.

At the superdome for the state high school championship classic Coachg Porter's exact words about Molton were "if he continues to progress he can be the best player this school has seen in a long time."
