If the concensus here is that LSU is loaded at wide receiver then I would have to question all the recruiting obsession over Rueben Randall's choice of schools. It would seem to me that the offensive line, running back and linebacker are positions that have a higher level of need. Also, since Randle still hasn't committed isn't it safe to assume that he does not possess 'the fire in the belly' for LSU and 'if' that is the case do we really want him? Do we really need another 'drama king' picking from three hats like McKnight? Thoughts?

I want as many aces as it is possible in my hand when playing poker. Can't have enough quality WR on a college team. With sets of 4 WR, 5-6 good ones may not be enough if there are injuries.

are you going to cry if he goes somewhere else? are you going to bash him and his family if he goes somewhere else? he's a very talented high school prospect who has shown little or no afinity for LSU. I remember the wailing when McKnight chose socal over LSU but we seemed to have survived quite well without him. get over yourself.

hes the top player in the state of louisiana. hes the best receiver in louisiana since michael clayton, maybe even before that. he spent a good portion of the year ranked as the #1 player in the country, and will finish ranked #2.

it is never good to not sign a player of that calibur, regardless of if its a position of need or not. and wr is a position of need for lsu anyway.

then lsu should only recruit kids that have grown up loving lsu, right?

so lsu wouldnt have russell shepard, who has stated many times that texas was always his favorite school.

lsu would not be hosting byron moore for a visit this weekend, who is only interested in lsu in the first place because of shepard, who we've already established never really loved lsu.

lsu should not have recruited craig loston, who rejected lsu twice for texas a&m and clemson.

last year, lsu should not have recruited patrick johnson, who rejected lsu for his childhood favorite miami.

do you understand how fricking stupid you sound yet?

the fact that you are comparing mcknight's recruitment to randle's shows how truly ignorant you are about randle and recruiting in general.

so like i said before, dont post anymore.

i want you to link to a post right now where someone says lsu will get rid of its football program if randle doesnt come here. or anything even remotely similar to that.
