i honestly believe when a person signs up for this site, he/she should have to pass a minimum grammar competency test before acquiring posting privileges

anyway....about molton...i went to destrehan high (actually played ball with ed reed, and yes i'm still pissed at him for not choosing to go to lsu and help bring us back) and still follow the football team very closely...some guys that played with molton and jefferson told me that molton was actually probably the better qb out of the 2, but that they had such a special team with jefferson, molton, nelson, sentimore, and portor (LB) that tim agreed to line up at wr...now, i don't necessarily believe this...but this definitely speaks to the level of athleticism that molton possesses...another thing that pisses me off is when people write off kids before they have a few years in the lsu program...d bowe had a bad JR year where he dropped A LOT of balls (not FR or RS FR or even SOPH campaign, be JR year)...he turned out to be a 1st rd draft pick and the chiefs leading receiver this yr...i'm not saying molton will match DB's success, but dammit give him an opportunity

while i don't normally play the role of the grammar police, i did comment on it in an earlier post while making a more pertinent statement. there is a difference between using punctuation and capitalization liberally and not knowing the difference between a noun, a possessive noun, and a contraction.

I don't think he's faster than Byrd unless he shaved about .2 seconds off his 40 time since last year. I like the comparison to Bowe though. He reminds me of a mix of Bowe and LaFell. Bigger than LaFell and faster than Bowe.

People don't understand that we have a full cabinent of recievers to choose from. LaRon Byrd had a good first year, cuz he plays for miami. He would never have seen the field his first year at LSU.

Our backup recievers would start elsewhere

Not only from DB's (which was reported) but also I heard from another offense player that he thinks Molton is "unbelieveable." He mentioned this to me without me asking. Its amazing how dudes comment on things they know nothing about (yes I've made a few dumb ones) and don't appreciate "inside" opinions. No doubt he may be special, since his name was mentioned before "better" starting WR candidates. But its neat to see LSU is loaded at WR.

Yeah, hopefully he has better hands than LaFell. LaFell has hands like Edward Scisorhands!!!

If the concensus here is that LSU is loaded at wide receiver then I would have to question all the recruiting obsession over Rueben Randall's choice of schools. It would seem to me that the offensive line, running back and linebacker are positions that have a higher level of need. Also, since Randle still hasn't committed isn't it safe to assume that he does not possess 'the fire in the belly' for LSU and 'if' that is the case do we really want him? Do we really need another 'drama king' picking from three hats like McKnight? Thoughts?

At the superdome for the state high school championship classic Coachg Porter's exact words about Molton were "if he continues to progress he can be the best player this school has seen in a long time."
I'm sure they probably say that to all the players to try to keep their confidence up, especially when they are not starting or playing much.

If Randle is a dominate player, you then go to a 4 WR set where you can't have enough bodies. Decisions of where recruits end up defy reason sometimes, (think of all the 4 and 5 stars recruits sitting the bench at USC!!), but LSU wouold feature a stud like him if he as good as people think.

I've never know Tim to be cocky....just a good kid.

What he pulled at the ring ceremony last year was a complete joke. And the comment about him being a better qb than Jefferson, as freshman/sophomores he definitely had the better arm and seemed to be all around better at that position.
