This is Spurrier deciding to wear white as the home team. Period.

Home teams usually wear the colored jerseys and the visiting team wears the white jerseys. LSU is a rare exception. Why is SC dressing out as the visiting team?

Maybe SC's home uniforms got flooded.

This doesn't make any sense. To let SC wear their usual home unis, wouldn't that still have LSU in white? The usual road uniforms for us.

I had a feeling they would. No issue with it.

It's gonna be hot. They want to wear white.

They were apparently already planning on wearing all white for this game.

Only real possible answer here. Otherwise it doesn't make sense to have USCe wear their white away jerseys.

South Carolina is the home team, so they get to pick. Apparently they were planning to wear white regardless, so we would've worn purple even in Columbia.
