This whole Jimbo thing makes me laugh - you don't take a lateral to a school

that you view as a step down. He would not have left LSU to go to FSU with the hope of taking a lateral back as head coach. Come on folks - we know better than this. Set our sights high, but not unrealistic. Same with Chip - if so, you better have a really good plan B, C and D.

When did he say he viewed LSU as a "step down," there's a reason he didn't come out and completely deny leaving for LSU.

Wait, what?? He left because he wanted to be the head coach of a good program. Now there will be an opportunity to come home and be head coach of a bigger program. What's so hard to understand about that?

It is to us with the purple and gold glasses, but you are dreaming. Listen - if Miles is gone, I hope we have a home run hire. However, I think you are dreaming if you think it is Jimbo. He has built something at FSU - also, have you seen the standings (plus they have a legacy of their own, and Jimbo is now part of it as a head coach).
