Sadly you and most of the others posting in this thread are unable to parse such logical differences.
So what would impress you. A championship every year?

No, but dropping 1-2 games every year due to completely idiotic coaching decisions is a reality under Miles.
Since he is the coach I'd like him to clean that which he controls, up!
if we get beat, we get beat...but sadly under Miles we rarely get beat. he beats us instead.

I find most of what you're speaking of endearing towards Les. Sure, some of it is condescending but Les seems happy to fill the role they have put forth for him. People are intrigued by characters, and Les is a character. He does it to himself by personifying an aloof, laid back, spontaneous cat. But you can laugh at Les and also respect him, which I think most of those analysts you mentioned do.
Les is the best thing that could have happened to this program after Saban left. I'm not sure many personalities could fit the bill better to carry LSU into the future. He is stable, he loves what he does, and he brings excitement. I think some of his decisions are way off, but you can't deny the stability that he has brought to this program.
Stability is something that is easily taken for granted.

Man, I think we just have different ideas of "completely idiotic coaching decisions".
Should we have thrown against Bama and run against Clemson? Quite possibly.
But was it "completely idiotic" to do it the other way? I just don't think so. I'm not one of these fans that thinks just because the result isn't successful that it was a stupid decision. Things don't always go according to plan, especially when you're playing against some of the best teams in the country.
Was Saban "completely idiotic" for choking away the GOTC by trying multiple FGs that everyone knew his kicker couldn't make or attempting a silly gimmick pass with a WR when his RBs were pounding us into submission? I think those weren't the right calls, but I also don't think Saban is a lucky buffoon that wins on his superior talent because the decisions he makes don't always work.
Your ilk focus on the negatives, but what about guiding LSU to a big win over Spurrier's #3 Gamecocks or Sumlin's Heisman Trophy winning QB that abused Saban's D?
What about LSU's greatest season of all time when we won the SEC at 13-0 by destroying every team except one by 2 TDs??
It's always the one play or call that doesn't work that you guys harp on while ignoring the mountains of success that Miles has brought us to.
I just don't get it.
For you and your Miles loathing friends, some words of wisdom from another misunderstood rogue:
"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and enjoy it once in a while, you might just miss it."

Best answer yet. I do want Miles to clean up somethings on offense. Just wait and see. This year could be great.

Bearing in mind that a typical year under Miles features just two losses, you're saying that EVERY year, aside from 08-9, the team was destined to win a NC but Miles got in the way?

Should have stopped there

that's a pretty perfect sentence to illustrate everyone i would disagree with.

what's really pathetic is you still don't get it...and somehow think your selective quoting is well done.

It's not selective quoting, if you can read, I said you should have stopped writing at the point that I quoted.
And please, tell me what a "completely idiotic coaching decision" entails, citing specific examples.

CptBengal is a troll who crawls out of the woodwork to crap on Miles or dual threat QB's or LSU players who stumble over the rules.
It's hard to believe anyone who shits on all things LSU as much as he does can even be an LSU fan, but I guess all fan bases have their CptBengal's they have to put up with.

THANKS vooidoo, these online ESPN people are all only copying what they hear from the online Louisiana trasht these people put out what they think the fans want to hear!Charlie Mac, Dale Brown and Les Miles they have a couple things in common they are great coaches they are underappreciated while we can redo what has happened to Dale and Charlie Mac we can help Coach miles to get the trophies that we have missed because of the negative
recruiting flowing out of Louisiana in, just a little more - support can help get us 5 or 6 more championship trophies in just very few a years Geaux LSU and Les miles
