This is what I agree with. We've got to quit struggling with powerhouses like Piss and Moo State and put the frickers away early. We've got to look like we can actually game plan.

I know all of you that are screaming about disrespect had plenty of moments last year screaming at Les Miles for his shitty game plans. LSU is a team where you can watch the games and say...how the frick did we win that game? I'm ready to see some strategy and EXECUTION. Let's kick some arse this year.

Ok bring up the teams that just blow every opponent out. Certainly it isnt bama. They have lost as many sec games the past 2 seasons as LSU. With arguably more talent and a better coach. So what gives?

Awesome. Awesome Post. Les just can't talk in complete sentences like Saban and Urban and comes off less "intelligent" but he connects with players and assistant coaches like few do. Plus he's a stand out guy in the community... People say a lot of things about Saban too, but no one calls Les the things they call Saban.. Omar Agrees With Me & If you haven't seen The Wire... get with it...

So what do they have to say about 2011? I know the nc blew but up until then we were great and those were not sabans players.

This topic has been really good. I'm starting to get fired up. I don't comment much, but my first game was 1968 Sugar Bowl in the rain. I was 7. I still remember the Golden Girls walking out. They were fine! I've been hooked on the Tigers ever since. I beleive coach Miles is playing them and he will get the last laugh. His style is a playful act. You saw what he did to Herbie before the SEC championship game against Tennessee. He is a great coach with an old style attitude, you control the line of scrimmage, you get first downs, control time of possession, wear the defense down, keep our defense fresh and keep their offense on the sidelines. If it's close in the. 4th qtr, we should win. It may not be hip today, but it wins. He has made many offensive mistakes obviously, but he's correcting. With our defense, which will be one of the best in the country and a real offense, we will be great.

The question nobody asks is this, "If any other coach in the country was coaching LSU in the same time frame, would they have as much success?"

Maybe 4-5 college coaches in the country could have done what Les has done.

The man recruits well, is generally loved by his players, develops NFL talent, competes against the best teams and has a great record against them, makes good hires when the time is right and treats most everyone with respect.

Kind of like we did in 2011, when we went 13-0 to win the SEC with only one game being decided by less than 2 TDs???

Did 1/9 erase all of that from history?

I think Miles strikes a brilliant balance of knowing exactly what he's doing and purely innocent conversation.

* He gets legit free press for his school
* He's in touch with technology (twitter followers)
* He's the perfect fit for LSU

Miles is like the quirky drunk uncle of coaching, and we're the drunk uncle school.

Les, please stay at LSU until you retire.

Sadly, yes. It was an epic beat down and a global embarrassment. We couldn't even cross the 50 yard line until the 3rd quarter IIRC.

With all do repect, it can be hard to watch at times but being an old frick I can tell you this is exactly the same shite that was said about Charlie Mack, and he couldn't beat Bear Bryant. That is what sent us into a decade long skid and an half empty Tiger stadium. Some people cant seem to remember the post Arnsperger pre-Saban years. I sure as hell do.

doesnt matter because if they are that simple, then 14-0 will change every tune. then u can look back and analyze the new perspective with just as much diligence/ yet diff points to make fun of them...yet with number 3 since 2003
