Miles is EASILY a top 5 collegiate football coach. Easily.

If you take away the hat, and the weird sound bites he often offers in press conferences, he would be looked at with the same respect as any other top coach. Simple as that.

What I'll never understand is how CLM gets shite on but Mark Richt gets a free pass and ain't won a damn thing in one of the most talent rich states in the country.

He's got the best record with the country's toughest schedule .. He's a great coach that get's the most out of his players. Hell, he damn near won it all with a team that could barely complete a forward pass ...

Agree 1000%. How many other coaches besides Les Miles have taken as many 3 star players and turned them into high draft picks?

I don't know how Les Miles can have this much success against the best teams in the country with hardly any pass offense,
I do know how many butts will be hurtin this year if Les develops one. 14

You are 100% dead on correct! Thank God that Les really doesn't give a sh*t what the so called experts and haters say or think. The truth is so obvious that I really believe most serious football fans see right through this, as do most recruits. The proof is in the pudding and the pudding has never tasted better in Baton Rouge!

Now having said that get a sirius or xm subscription and listen to Chanel 91. (It's cheap and they will basically give you the radio) Most all of theses guys follow nothing but college sports usually football and actually have a brain and use it, and dont give a flying frick about the narrative.

Agreed X 1,000,000. Once you listen to this channel you will forget about local sports radio hacks. Best $9.95 per month I've spent

While I agree with most of your points, he is paying the price(fairly or not) for 21-0 debacle when the game plan was utterly useless. He also had Bama on the ropes and decided on a bunch formation with Ware in the Wildcat. A fricking pop warner defensive player could read that one. So overall I like Les but he has failed to take down that little bastard when it mattered most. Hopefully all that changes this year. Wait and see. FWI, I choose not to give two fricks about what anyone says in Bristol, Connetticut.

And at this point, does anyone honestly believe that LSU has more talent than teams like Alabama, Florida, Georgia in the SEC and other teams like Florida State, Ohio State, Notre Dame, USC, Oregon, Texas, or Oklahoma??

Yes... Our fans actually think we are the most talented team and that we win in spite of miles. yet they bitch when we got a #18 recruiting class saying Les has lost it. Then go back to saying we should never lose a game because no one has the talent we do.

It is fricking ridiculous and I agree with everything you say.

FSU has out recruited LSU for almost 2 decades now. They play in a weak arse conference they cant even win with clemson being the only team close to them rt now imo. Yet people would rather Jimbo over Miles? Miles has won the toughest division in cfb 3 times, Jimbo beat Ga Tech to win the acc for the first time last season. each year they have been equally or more talented than LSU.

And there are only 2 d1 programs there. ATL alone has more people than the entire state of LA.

We dont win as much if Les didnt do such a good job in bringing OOS talent. After the hurricanes we saw some not so strong LA classes until recently. We won in 2007 with 51% of the roster from being OOS. Les has mad this program a national name. top recruits from across the country listen to what LSU has to offer when they wouldnt before.

It didn't matter more in the BCSNC or when he had them on the ropes and let it go this year? That's all I'm saying don't try to read to much into what I'm saying. The media or stuck on that little shite's and the gump's nut sack. Until Les shows again he can beat him, and field and offense that doesn't sputter and lose to teams like Clemson, they will try and belittle him and the tigers. I don't like it but it's up to him to change the perception.

I agree with this post 100%. Miles doesn't get the respect he deserves. Don't count this 2013 team out.
