Yeah I suppose it’s not the QB’s job to keep second half leads and not go 3 and out after 3 and out giving the other team more opportunities to get back in the game.

Exactly! I mean to be fair our 2019 defense significantly improved when it mattered but it wasn’t much better at its worst compared to 2020. Maybe if the 2020 defense had a reason to step up they might have?

Through his first 3 games

Myles had Marshall and Gilbert to throw to.

Max won without the luxury of those targets. KB stepped up along with a few others, but there's a reason Marshall will go high in the draft

Had chances to win and choked. Burrow would have cut the jugular and finished them.

Sure he would, with the help of three first round draft picks as WRs, best running back in the draft and the best OL in the country.

Show me a QB that had a more talented support group, in the history of the game, than Joe Burrow.

Did anyone stop to think that with our offensive line and just the ferocity of play these days that we might need all four of our quarterbacks before the season is over? Inuries can and probably will play a big part in all of this.

You do know what the word "History" means don't you? Well never mind you don't.

Max is the starter. Myles is transferring after graduation. TJ is transferring this summer.

Well TJ jumped the gun a little bit.

Umm? You place one defensive back 30 yards deep on the right side hash.

Yes there is a QB competition....

And if you were coaching the team, there would be as well.

You play the best player ... the player you think gives you the best chance to win.

If you are asking my opinion - I like Max. He had that "it" factor. I like Myles arm better. He can make all of the throws but I just think Max has a little bit of a dog in him and a playmaking ability... a clutch factor to him.

For the record, I think it's a really close call for which one starts. Of course there is a competition.

With that said, people need to stop saying Max will be the starter because "he has the IT factor," or "he's a gamer." Saying stupid crap like that just means that he is your preference and you don't have any real reason why.

I guess the qb is responsible for making the db throw a shoe?

Or do we give the florida win to Kole Taylor?

Remind me of the play calls again and explain to me how Myles negatively impacted those runs.
