I agree with you but there is one small problem... Brennan did not exhibit the IT factor and Max did.

In two games. Small sample size.
Finley looked good in his first two games as well.

Hope all three continue to improve and prove they have the "It" factor.

He didn’t do that. The team did. The stuff that gets posted here is just incredible.

the "it" factor is usually evident from the very beginning. It's an intangible that's hard to define, but you know when you see it. It's not something that's proven over time - a guy either has it or he doesn't.

As much as I respect Brennan, he doesn't have the "it" factor. Sorry, he just doesn't.

How the frick do you lose to Moo State

Dumbest post today. Defense couldn't stop anything and it's the QB's fault. And with a season ending injury he brought his team to within one play of a win at the goal line.

Joe was like 85% comp through 3 games Myles around 60% that's a huge difference. Myles was struggling on 3rd down.

The defense wasn't good that day, but they still forced FOUR turnovers and put 6 points of their own on the board (pick 6)

In the first half of that game LSU had seven possessions. FIVE were 5 plays or less. Another was the end of the half. In the second half neither team could stop the other. But with 11:00 minutes to go in the 4th, trailing 34-24 LSU forced turnovers on back to back MSU plays. After the first LSU scored a TD. But the second was a fumble that gave LSU the ball at the MSU 23. The offense promptly gained 1 yard and settled for a tying FG. After that the defense bent, but didn't completely break and allowed just a FG to put MSU up 3 with 7:00 to go. LSU got the ball back and quickly went 3 and out.

It is foolish to say the loss was completely on Brennan. But the defense DID give the offense some chances

What was his 3rd down efficiency again? That is his downfall. Max is money on 3rd down. Move the chains. Keep the defense off the field. Am I missing something?

Yeah, Brennan average almost 40 points a game, 1100 yards and 11 tds in 3 freaking games. he didn’t have to make every 3rd down he was putting the ball in the end zone. but the defense sure the hell needed to keep the other team off the field on 3rd downs..
and we all know how that went,

I believe it’ll be a lot like Flynn/perriloux in 2007

Brennan will start but johnson will play some series and continue to get experience

Then in 2022 it will be johnson starting with nuss getting a series here and there to get used to the offense and get some experience

TD:Int stats were similar and Florida's defense was significantly better than Moo St, Vandy, Mizzou.

That’s simply not true.

Florida’s defense was not “significantly better” than Mizzou and Mississippi State. In fact, Mississippi State’s defense was significantly better than Florida’s by almost every metric and Mizzou was roughly equal.

Ole Miss, on the other hand, was significantly worse on defense than Mizzou or Mississippi State - and was worse or even with Vandy by most (if not all) metrics.

I’m not saying there’s no QB competition, but it blows my mind that people are still saying Florida and Ole Miss were better defenses than Mizzou and MSU. They had better records, sure. But it had nothing to do with their defenses.

Burrow's first 3 starts yielded around 550 yrs and 3 TDS on less than 50% completions.

Joe in 2018? Name his receivers, RB, and OL.

Joe in 2019? Name his receivers, RB, and OL.

Brennan in 2020 Name his receivers, RB, and OL.

I agree. Here’s a prediction for the next 3 years. I think Max starts, Brennan transfers, TJ stays this year. 2022 Walker Texas Howard comes in, TJ then enters the portal, thenMax has a good enough year to enter the draft and go like top of 3rd round because he could be unseated as the starter by Nussmeier or Howard if he stays. 2023 Nuss and Howard compete to be the next big time LSU QB.

If you're right, he's gonna be running for his life. Good chance Max will end up the QB due to injury. Our O line ain't too hot.

1 win against Vandy and losses to mighty Missouri and Mississippi State. Wow that’s amazing. He was on his way to a heisman.

Myles' arm looks great at times, but set a school record for picks.

Max is more mobile, but less arm talent. Plus the black players are all behind Max.

Oh wait WTF sorry wrong LSU qb controversy.
