The Weaknesses of Harris That Do Not Apply to Jennings i keep seeing justification for les's poor decision to start jennings, typically being negative towards harris...but it seems people are forgetting each applies to jennings also for example, i'm worried about starting harris on the road and all that, too, but jennings hasn't started a road SEC game, either for example, i'm worried about harris reading a more complex/talented D than NMSU, too, but jennings has proven he's worse than harris is at reading defenses, so this isn't an argument we're worried that harris may put us in a hole, but jennings already has in 2 straight game

There is nothing Jennings brings to the table better than Harris that will help us win. We are not a playoff or. Sec champion team this year. Harris gets the ball to multiple receivers which tells me he is going through progressions and hitting the open man. Something Jennings has not done. I'm one that says let Harris get the experience now (good with the bad) so we will be prepared for the following years. He gets better with every bit of playing time. Jennings does not. Neither Harris nor Jennings has true road experience so why shouldn't Harris start at Auburn. He has played the better of the two.

His points always make a lot of sense. Law school must have been worth it.

jennings is careless with the football.

for those thinking miles is going to start him against auburn, I just don't agree.

miles ain't putting up with that bullshite from the QB this year.

Does being poor really bother you as much as you make it out to here?

I'm in for Harris. We can say "it was just NMSU" all we want, but the QB disparity was very clear despite the opposition. Harris may still make some freshman mistakes on the road, but he's the better option right now.

who are you people arguing against? where are the posts denying that Harris is more talented? but "most talented" is not the same as "best quarterback". manziel and winston both redshirted for fricks sake, you never want your true freshman to start from day one, its just not a good idea if you can avoid it. we dont have that luxury, and Harris is playing.

he's both, so that statement is worthless

and after we say harris have issues against wisconsin, nobody is stating that, nor were they

but not playing harris last week hurt us. and we lost that game. it may have been enough to sway the game. that's a major issue

then after all the data was presented (and not close to "day one"), jennings still started again...and to put it nicely, was not good

yea been saying this since day one---they both are gonna struggle --might as well go with the more talented one that gives you the best chance. pretty freakin obvious

Yep. Was "not good" at home. Why would he better at Auburn? Rhetorical question.

I agree man. I was really surprised Jennings was in the very next series to be honest.

and i'm not proclaiming harris as some great QB this year. i tried to temper expectations of him last week on here

he's going to have some stinkers himself. likely next week

*ETA: that's not meant to be a criticism. he's a true frosh. he's going to frick up...esp against top competition

*ETA: if i'm wrong and he doesn't frick up, then i will gladly be wrong b/c he'll be a GOAT-type college QB

If Miles would just apologize for not shaking his hand in the bathroom that time then there could be peace between these two icons of Tiger nation.

I have never used the shift key to capitalize a letter. That just seems weird. I just hit the Caps Lock key when I want caps. But I am also a hunt and peck typer.

I don't think anyone will argue with you that Harris should start against Auburn.

I can't think of one reason for him not to start. This "ease him into the game by letting Jennings take the first couple of series" logic makes no sense to me whatsoever.

If Harris is the end point, I don't see the advantages of delaying it any further.
