This is similar to when Russell Wilson was a rookie and Matt Flynn was the heralded NFL veteran. Except that Pete Carroll doesn't wear blinders like Les Miles and others and Wilson was obviously the better of the two. In this case, Harris is obviously the better of the two between him and Jennings. Only problem is Les Miles is a flat out stubborn SOB when it comes to new players vs. those with seniority. We shall see which is more important: talent or Les' ego.

If the o-line will just do there job in the run game with more consistency, then Cam should have no problem predicting what Auburn's D will do.

You know, why back in the day (maybe like '08), I did not like you.

But you're a winner in my books buddy.

It baffles me how so many posters here never heard of a paragraph.

A lot of people in this fanbase bashed Carroll for making this move. It turned out to be a great move, but it seems like we quickly forget things here.

That would be hit or miss. Slow makes many valid points from time to time but his inability to enjoy anything about les miles at lsu causes him to make stretch Armstrong reaches and constant moving of goal posts in order to criticize

I'm right with you.

The announcers said all night that Les conveyed in the production meetings that Harris was like a 3-point shooter put in at the end of a game who hits a lot of shots which make fans question the coach as to why that scorer wasn't in the game earlier.

They said Miles explained that maybe that shooter is not good with finer points of the game like protecting the ball, distributing the ball, and other game fundamentals for each possession.

Well, if that's the case, it's clear that Harris protected, distributed and helped the team score on each and every possession.

At the same time, Jennings should be held to that same standard and should get a failing grade in comparison.

Maybe Miles is privately giving Jennings a failing grade but was just hesitant post-game to throw his starter under the bus publicly. ...Or maybe, he just doesn't want to lose credibility with the team in that he made a wrong decision. On both accounts, I would understand.

Otherwise, it is definitely a double standard.

One saying they are worried about Harris going into Jordan-Hare or the Swamp doesn't mean they think Jennings should start. On the topic, please show me one person that thinks Jennings should start.

Also - why does this have to be such a childish pissing match? Don't we all want what will give us the best chance to win? There's no "Team Harris" or "Team Jennings".
