It's the same fricking team that beat UK, yet these monkeydicks are sure LSU will lose to UK at home no less.

As BOX said, in-fricking-tolerable

Florida is REALLY bad.

No one is saying they are great...but they were 3-1 coming into the game with wins over two decent to half-way good teams in Tenn and KY. This crap about them being Terrible, is just the nega's way of trying to undermine anything positive for LSU. KY and Tenn, nor Florida, is Sam Houston St.....douche.

There was a lot of improvement. The O-line played much better, the D-line played much better, and LF looked much better. But, as a douche bag negatiger, you won't admit that.

its really, really tough to win on the road in the sec. look at bama vs Arky. miss state over LSU is the only good road win in sec west. LSU has improved a lot but it still all depends on Jennings playing at least ok. defensive line and lbs are playing better. db is still the best group on D but is feeling the pain of zero pass rush.

I can only assume that they're thinking that KY has gotten better since that game, but simultaneously thinking that we haven't. Not sure how that works.

According to sbnation.com, 54% of UF roster is made up of blue chip recruits, just slightly below LSU at 62%. The talent is closer then people think, and the fact that we beat them on the road coming off of an awful loss says a ton about the character of this young football team. I am not saying that we are getting ready to compete for the West but we are a lot better then we were at the beginning of October.

This is actually pretty huge. Florida had everything to play for as they were still very much in the race for the East crown. The crowd was amped, and we were coming off of a humiliating game.

To be fair though, UK, UF, and LSU look about even. I mean do you not agree with the way UK & UF played was almost identical to LSU & UF?

Anytime you win a road game in the SEC against a non-bottom-feeder

Florida will likely fire their coach this year because they will indeed be a bottom feeder. Florida most likely is a 5 win team MAX this year.

We match up much differently against Florida than we do against Kentucky.

Jesus. Rationalize it anyway you want, but I was speaking in terms of perennial performance/expectations.

Well, that doesnt make much sense. Doing it that way, beating unranked Florida is a better win then #1 MSU

I admit that the OLine, DLine, and Fournette looked better.

There, are you happy?

I never said that they didn't. What I am saying is that the whole "major" improvement thing needs to be taken with a grain of salt. I don't think that one week is enough time to make "major" improvement.

By the way, I am not a Negatiger. I have written 4 or so posts in the past week saying really good and hopeful things for this season. But, I am being realistic. All that matters right now is winning and getting better. We need to see things for what they are, though, and just enjoy each game.

I am a Realitiger.

You, however, don't know what you are talking about.

Like I said, rationalize your misery anyway you want.

Florida recruits very well, and is most certainly a hostile environment. If you can't see the difference between that and, say, Vandy, then I've got nothing else for you.

The defense did not look better. We allowed over 300 yards and 20 points to an absolutely anemic Florida football team. It is amazing how beating bad teams will make fans think there is improvement. If last Saturdays opponent was MSU or Auburn nothing would have been better then the first two times

Florida was averaging 17pts in regulation in their SEC games, but scored 27 against us. We did enough to win. The biggest improvement for us in that game was LF getting 27 carries.

Florida was a very good match-up for the defense, probably the best match-up we will have the rest of the season.

They are NOT a great defense like you guys keep saying.

florida has the best secondary we have played all year; by far. their front 7 is not as good as they have fielded in the past but are still pretty good.

screw the stats. they are always skewed esp at this time of the year. football seasons are pretty short compared to baseball and basketball so after 6 games stats are just not enough to go by unless you delve into WHO they played, specific GAME situations and other factors such as how long the defense had to be on the field due to a crap offense. and of those 6 games (remember they one cancelled) one of them was against LSU.

What? I am not miserable at all. I can see the difference between Florida and Vandy. But it doesnt change the fact that Florida is a cellar dweller SEC team this year. No big deal but it is the truth

The punt returns are the only reason it was close

But 14 of those points were a result of bad, bad punt coverage on our part.

If you compare the MSU game with this past weekends game in the Swamp you can see how much better LSU has gotten over the past few weeks.

I don't see that much improvement. I think it's just the competition. Miss St. would still beat our arse and so would Auburn.
