I'm traveling up solo for work but I know a few folks that live there. Airfare and hotel paid for by my employer, per diem, and free championship series tix from my friend's employer.

Is she in her early 50's? Maybe I'm thinking of the crazy one that tells everyone she's rich? Anyway, I sit at the bar just to the right of the waitress area there. I have full custody of my kids, so I only get there every other weekend when they go to visit their mom...but I just sit there and mind my own business.

I've been calling friends to go but have been unsuccessful. I'm thinking about going solo and catch the first two LSU games.

In 2009 I ended up making the trip solo after a buddy of mine bailed on me at the last minute. I debated on going or not but got up at 3am the next morning and made the 16 hour drive by myself. It was a great trip and I would do it again in a heartbeat. That trip will always be one of my favorite LSU trips so don't let flying solo hold you back. Go and support the Tigers!
