Our passing game will be MUCH better next year. It may not be record breaking, but it will be much improved.

Pretty much everyone that's been 19 then survived it for any length of time understands this fully.

We all look back at the end of the MSU game and the NMSU game and can tell that Harris is obviously the more talented guy. It showed in those particular instances because he was able to just play ball. At the end of the State game, we were in 3 or 4 wide gun offense in hurry-up mode, and the D was playing soft zone and not blitzing, just trying to get the game over with. It was a PERFECT setup.
After that, the NMSU game was even better. Harris, and our offense and whole team in general, were so much better that Harris had time to think about what he was doing. He wasn't under enormous pressure, and he looked smooth and effortless.
Then, we all know what happened at AU. The game sped up tremendously, and it got Harris out of that comfort zone. Plus, he had all the prep and pressure of being the starter for a week leading up to the game. That is a very different thing than going in off the bench and playing "your style."
Now, think back to a year earlier. Remember when Jennings had to get off the bench in the Arkansas game? He uncorked one of the craziest passing TDs in LSU history and was a hero. And in the bowl game? Same as Harris. With the pressure of being the starter, and having to cover an entire gameplan, he eventually folded in the 2nd half.
Both of these guys are young. They both get flustered when you get them out of their comfort zone. I think Jennings has had his shot, but at least give Harris some time before you make grand pronouncements about him. With a full year and a half in the system by next season, hopefully the game will start slowing down for him, and he will be able to handle life in the SEC.

I was 19 when I served in the Korean war, but I didn't consider my self a kid! Maybe some of U might try serving your country.

Yeah, well. People who feel "lucky" are in the minority. The other 90% of the country feels entitled.. spoiled SOBs who think the country should hand them a comfortable living instead of making it for themselves.

YES... 19 year olds are kids. That is WHY we have them in the military. They act first and think second. That is why they are good soldiers. Grown men hesitate. Grown men reason and think things through. That caution makes them not as pliable as soldiers.
As far as BH's attitude... I have watched him. I have listened to him. According to friends of mine who taught him in high school.. . he is an intelligent, hard working and well spoken young man.

I'm not saying some people don't stop right there and never mature to full grown adults. But most people who aren't really close to 19 years old realize that at 19, you're a kid. Situation doesn't matter. If you're the same guy you were in Korea you fricked up. And I have the utmost respect for vets. But that has nothing to do with maturity of piling on the years and I'm amazed you're trying to act like it does if you're that old.
On the other hand I also have never met a 19 year old that considered himself a kid. So maybe that's what you meant.

This makes no sense. Miles has recruited 1 successful QB at LSU since he has been here. 1. Let that sink in. That QB had 1 good season. I'm going to have to lean to LSU recruiting is doing something very wrong. I can't tell you how many QBs we've recruited that transfer shortly after. Something isn't going right. Regardless, it's their job to identify the talent and get the most out of it which is clearly not happening at LSU QB.
Nobody else finds it alarming at how many QBs we recruit and they end up leaving before sniffing the field?

Bottom line is that Jennings is not the answer. He is as bad today as he was a year ago in a bowl game with NFL receivers. Imagine a shut out against Arkansas and being about the worse ranked QB in the entire country - enough already.
All this cr-p about being a Junior or Senior is nothing but more excuses. Plenty of young QBs are successful. All we need is average QB play and we cannot even get that from Jennings.
Harris needs to step up and do what is necessary to be a leader and get on the field. Otherwise, all the talent on this team is never going to win the SEC West let alone be in the playoffs.

Look around the country...it happens at a LOT of schools these days...kids see they won't play anytime soon, and they hit the road to what they think is greener pastures.....your critical reasoning here is extremely flawed given these facts. Also, Lee would have had a pretty damn good senior campaign had miles left him in. JJ was just not good....and the book on BH hasn't been written yet....lighten up....JJ was a big miss and RP screwed things up for LSU....relax dude.
