re: With this coaching staff.. - PennyPacker
Things look a lot easier from the comfort of your lazy boy or your seat in the stadium. I guess it makes people feel good to really believe that Miles is so unimportant to the program that most people can do his job.......

re: Will the offense realistically change this year? - PennyPacker
Has it really ever changed since Miles has been here?
I think what is amazing is the amount of people who think it doesn't change!! Is there a consistent philosophical influence? Yes, but the types of plays are different! Miles is a run oriented ball control offensive guy; but i...

re: LSU defense "simple, fun, and fast" - PennyPacker
Still really don't understand that hire.
Hmmm, Aleva (boosters) was handcuffing his hires. We were lucky to get Coach O, that BS Les Miles clause had everyone else leaving or "not interested". Pretty simple really, allow only contracts for sub par hires therefore performance dips...

re: CLM has called Holly Rowe several times to check on her - PennyPacker
Les sure seems like a pretty good guy. Countless stories of him doing acts of kindness that he wouldn't typically get him "public" recognition. :geauxtigers:...

re: i got coach tonight - PennyPacker
Just a little bit of info since okra and gumbo has grown to be a big part of this thread. Gumbo is Okra.... The word gumbo was brought over from Africa, it is the Angolan word for Okra. Okra was used to thicken soup like foods. Thought ya'll might like a little Louisiana history trivia this ...

re: Lindsay Scott Height Issue - PennyPacker
Height didn't hurt Antwaan Randle El (5'10" 185lbs) in college, he was the first QB to have 40 passing and 40 rushing TD's. Oh and Cam was the head coach of Indiana when Randle El was there. Also, Scott appears to be a smarter and bigger version...Randle El was only a partial academic qualifier du...

re: Lindsey Scott comparison - PennyPacker
Hmmm, Antwaan Randle El is 5'10". Cam did pretty good with him at Indiana. I think Randle El ran the ball better but it does show Cam knows what to do with a short QB....

re: Times are a changing - PennyPacker
LSU has gone from 8-5, 4-4 and unranked to 9-3, 5-3 and top 16 ranked. That's not fantasy land or head in the sand, but reality. LSU will have a returning starter at QB for the 1st time since 2013. That starter is the 3rd highest ranked QB who returns to the SEC this season and he guide...

re: Times are a changing - PennyPacker
how dare you be objective
it's not the objectivity that is hated it's the biased slant of negativity. Negatigers and Positigers are both annoying, however at least one can argue that a Positiger is "hoping and wishing" for the best even though they can be delusional too. ...

re: My take on the QB situation - PennyPacker
most top flight high school qb's don't like sitting a year much less two years
Not entirely true, other schools sign 3 and 4 star QB's every year. Our problem is we zero in on one and ignore the rest. We have being doing this for years. We need to stop that crap and recruit mu...

re: Haskins to Ohio State - PennyPacker
All in for Lowell in 2017!!!
We should never be "all in" for anyone. You should always recruit multiple options and if someone wants to be the "only qb" then let them go somewhere else. Cam is putting too much faith in what 17 yr olds are telling him. Let's take a project ...

re: I Finally Realized The Difference in LSU and Bama While Watching the NC - PennyPacker
Poncho
Just the fact that you "Finally Realize the difference" after all these years speaks VOLUMES about you. I don't need to read anymore posts that you write. Bottom line Miles is our coach, either support him or don't.....but stop being a Saban tit sucker! ...

re: Let's start a partition for Les to open up the offense! - PennyPacker
I am thinking that if Chicken put a basic intelligence test as requirement to post, it would eliminate approximately 80% of the "fans" posting here....... I guess we would need to find another of entertainment if that happened, lol ...

re: Divinity and Harris - PennyPacker
Like a draft, you take the BPA, not a position. IF we can get better players at other positions, then so be it.
I think it is more complicated that this. What it sounds like you are saying is, just take the highest rated players, don't go after the need. So that means take a anot...
