re: David Feaster not the villain people make him out to be BAMA BANNED - TigerAlum93
And you think LSU and other schools don't do this???...

re: Feaster interview on "Off the Bench" - TigerAlum93
As much as recruits have forgotten the definition of "commitment", college coaches play around WAY too much with 17 year old kids with the "committable" offer. What Bama did to BH6 happens WAY too often and the NCAA should do something about it. ...

re: Brandon Harris to Transfer - TigerAlum93
Glad Coach O gave him a full release and not try to block him, I think that would not have happened with the previous regime. ...

Four WR coaches in 4 years.....maybe it was too unstable for him. I would have concerns. ...

re: A Win-Win Is What's Neeed with the NOLA HS Coaches - TigerAlum93
Frank Wilson did a great job of prioritizing NOLA guys, and the HS coaches know this, they got spoiled. NOLA is such a hot bed of talent, and they feel like they have leverage because of it. We lost NOLA years ago and LSU recruiting was impacted by it. Saban did a great job of getting it back w...

re: What is up with SOUTH Louisiana... - TigerAlum93
The OBJ/Landry effect has worn off, and recruits have paid attention to how things have went with LSU recruits from their area. Now that Miles/Cameron are gone I expect Coach O to fix it, but it may take a year or two. ...

re: Love for Les Miles - TigerAlum93
quote: Miles was always a class act like when he blamed a 20 yr old not developing to defend keeping CC on as the OC?
Not fair to Coach O, but the way many in state guys were treated recently as mentioned above did not go un-noticed by in state recruits, and I think played a...

re: Frank Thomas alleges that Ivan Rodriguez used steroids - TigerAlum93
Seems like everyone back then was. The HOF voters pick and choose who they want to apply the steroids argument to.
Agree. It has to be hard for the Frank Thomas's and Tony Gwynn's of the world who did not dope, and watch guys who did get in. I think those who did dope and ...

re: worst thing about dupre leaving early? - TigerAlum93
put him in an NFL weight and nutrition program, put him up to 205-210 at 6'4 with his skill set and speed, and he will be AJ Green 2.0. They will polish his route running and make him more consistent catching with his hands. Give him a couple years and he'll be a stud. Going later in the draf...

re: Julio or A. Brown? - TigerAlum93
Cannot go wrong with either. Interesting, the consensus top 3 WR in the NFL are Julio, AB, and OBJ, with two of them being under 6 ft tall. There was a time not too long ago that many did not think you could be an elite WR and less than 6 ft tall. ...

re: SEC Combine warriors, who will move up? - TigerAlum93
Malachi Dupre will probably do well. If not, his stock may plummet.
Agree. Chi will measure just over 6'2", jump close to 40", and look good in drills. ...

re: Malachi Dupre Highlights - TigerAlum93
quote: how poor his production was in the context of our passing game struggles in recent years, was his production really "poor"? and yeah I know the WRs (Chi included) had some drops, but we generally had some QBs with accuracy issues (to put it nicely) for the bulk of his career....

re: Star DB Tony Brown on the Cover of Sports Illustrated This Week - TigerAlum93
I think if Brown runs into the Clemson pick, the refs throw a flag. He ran into his own teammate on the other TD by Renfroe or else he tackles him for a short gain. The picks were "legal" since no flag was thrown. Credit to Clemson for selling a route vs an intentional pick. They've been...

re: Watson: "We we worked on that Pick All Year" ... And it was perfectly legal - TigerAlum93
Hats off to Clemson. Williams was probably their only WR who could "win" on his own (and did) so using picks is part of the game against man to man defense, and they executed the picks flawlessly. ...
