re: Fournette with 4.51 unofficial (others inside). 4.52 2nd attempt - TigerAlum93 on 3/3/17 at 12:41 pm
It would not surprise me if LF7 weighs less than 240lbs today. It is good strategy to weigh in heavy, then cut some for the next 24 hours, get lighter, run faster. 4.51 is very impressive for his size!...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: Would you rather: Beau Jordan or Brennan Breaux in the OF - TigerAlum93 on 2/27/17 at 11:40 am
They both surprised me last season doing what they did at the plate, but seemed to come back down to earth hard the latter part of the season.
Statements like these I do not understand. I have watched them and their peer group grow up. They have won at the highest level from the...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (2)
re: Feaster interview on "Off the Bench" - TigerAlum93 on 2/15/17 at 12:31 pm
As much as recruits have forgotten the definition of "commitment", college coaches play around WAY too much with 17 year old kids with the "committable" offer. What Bama did to BH6 happens WAY too often and the NCAA should do something about it. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)

re: A Win-Win Is What's Neeed with the NOLA HS Coaches - TigerAlum93 on 2/8/17 at 12:03 pm
Frank Wilson did a great job of prioritizing NOLA guys, and the HS coaches know this, they got spoiled. NOLA is such a hot bed of talent, and they feel like they have leverage because of it. We lost NOLA years ago and LSU recruiting was impacted by it. Saban did a great job of getting it back w...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: What is up with SOUTH Louisiana... - TigerAlum93 on 2/7/17 at 8:54 am
The OBJ/Landry effect has worn off, and recruits have paid attention to how things have went with LSU recruits from their area. Now that Miles/Cameron are gone I expect Coach O to fix it, but it may take a year or two. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
quote: Miles was always a class act like when he blamed a 20 yr old not developing to defend keeping CC on as the OC?
Not fair to Coach O, but the way many in state guys were treated recently as mentioned above did not go un-noticed by in state recruits, and I think played a...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)

re: Frank Thomas alleges that Ivan Rodriguez used steroids - TigerAlum93 on 1/30/17 at 12:23 pm
Seems like everyone back then was. The HOF voters pick and choose who they want to apply the steroids argument to.
Agree. It has to be hard for the Frank Thomas's and Tony Gwynn's of the world who did not dope, and watch guys who did get in. I think those who did dope and ...
put him in an NFL weight and nutrition program, put him up to 205-210 at 6'4 with his skill set and speed, and he will be AJ Green 2.0. They will polish his route running and make him more consistent catching with his hands. Give him a couple years and he'll be a stud. Going later in the draf...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Julio or A. Brown? - TigerAlum93 on 1/25/17 at 11:54 am
Cannot go wrong with either. Interesting, the consensus top 3 WR in the NFL are Julio, AB, and OBJ, with two of them being under 6 ft tall. There was a time not too long ago that many did not think you could be an elite WR and less than 6 ft tall. ...
