Think about this...if the DA's office trys a frivious charge against an innocent person the DA's office faces the lawsuit for malicious prosecution...especially after Hillar Moore appeared on television saying that the evidence was inconclusive...

it all has worked out pretty well for the team at this point.

Josh would probably disagree with you and the "team" takes a back seat to two guys arrested for a felony and taken to a GJ only to have the GJ tell the DA "your ham sandwich" felony over a bar room fight where all walk away smells bad and we aren't buying it.

First time I heard anyone that close to the case say that Jefferson kicked someone in the head.
You mean aside from the "independent witness" Lowery's sleeping with or Michael Bienvenu.

I don't really understand this. Use a comma or some punctuation. How can you argue 4 wins is not good for the team?

Spare me the message board punctuation lecture.

does anyone where where that orange taco truck that usually goes downtown has been? I haven't seen it in weeks. For the longest time it was parked right across North Blvd from the new courthouse and I've been craving it every morning.

my point...if the shoe dont fit you must acquit...thats my point!!!!

You are jumping the proverbial gun...that is left up to the jury to decide...we are not there yet. It may never get there but that is to be determined

Some guy in the Dome is not the same as a college bar fight in a crowd with a bunch of out of control drunks.
If it had been us in that situation, everyone would have bolted and nothing would have happened.

this is only speculation...but i hardly think that this charge will ever see a jury...i think the next stop is a pretrial diversion(if JJ is eligible) or an outright dismissal....

to the genius that posted this thread - Hillar Moore made no such statement about the case against JJ being inconclusive - it was certainly conclusive for the grand jury in less than an hour of deliberation

Actually what he said was inconclusive was the DNA evidence taken from the shoes, not the entire case.

So just calm down, take a deep breath, unbunch your panties, and step away from the internet for a while

It's pretty scary to think that adults are unable to process or understand this information.

You can't sue the pd. They are immune under the law.

You think so?
Durham NC begs to differ.

The suit would be against individual officers and the city of Baton Rouge. Not saying it's a slam dunk, but there is a case.
