this is dynamite logic. The entire post was predicated on them knowing the identities of a suspect and making an arrest. Are those words too big for you?

There will be no lawsuit against the BRPD. His year is not ruined. Now he might actually get a championship--by sitting on the sidelines.
BTW, it's OK to cuss on here.

BRPD won't be opened up to a lawsuit bro. Unless they really fricked up (grossly negligent in handling the investigation, tampered with evidence). You know how many innocent people are sitting in the EBR jail right now?

well you are assuming that JJ did the act...those students know him by name and face...if the DA says the evidence is INCONCLUSIVE...that would mean that the witness identification is at best INCONCLUSIVE...THERE is REASON to DOUBT the EYEWITNESS IDENTIFICATION...

What I just heard Hillar say on WJBO was that it is a difficult test to prove Second Degree Battery (intent to cause harm), same thing Doug Moreau said on the same show last week. He also said, and I quote "Jordan Jefferson kicked the victim in the head". He didn't stutter, he didn't qualify it. He said there was more than one kicker, but JJ was the only one clearly identified. But, yeah, let's accuse Hillar and the BRPD of railroading JJ, and all sorts of other misconduct, putting their long-standing careers on the line, instead of considering that maybe, just maybe, he is guilty of kicking someone laying on the ground.

What I'm saying is, no one that wasn't a high profile figure would have gotten the same benefit of the doubt (all of the DNA testing, waiting a week to investigate...) they would have been sitting in jail that night if just one eye witness would have given them up.
think about it like this. Me and you get in a fight outside of the bulldog. I kick you in the head. The doorman says "yep elleshoe did it". You think they are doing this sort of investigation before arresting me?

It's all a conspiracy brah

ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, I have one final thing I want you to consider. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Chewbacca. Chewbacca is a Wookiee from the planet Kashyyyk. But Chewbacca lives on the planet Endor. Now think about it; that does not make sense! Why would a Wookiee, an 8-foot-tall Wookiee, want to live on Endor, with a bunch of 2-foot-tall Ewoks? That does not make sense! But more important, you have to ask yourself: What does this have to do with this case? Nothing. Ladies and gentlemen, it has nothing to do with this case! It does not make sense! Look at me. I'm a lawyer defending a major record company, and I'm talkin' about Chewbacca! Does that make sense? Ladies and gentlemen, I am not making any sense! None of this makes sense! And so you have to remember, when you're in that jury room deliberatin' and conjugatin' the Emancipation Proclamation, does it make sense? No! Ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, it does not make sense! If Chewbacca lives on Endor, you must acquit! The defense rests.

When my teenagers get in trouble (as they all do) they are always innocent. Just ask them. So, we have to believe JJ's story (although we've heard there were several versions) instead of career law enforcement and DA personnel. I personally know both Hillar and Dwayne White pretty well, and have never known two individuals to be straighter shooters than the two of them. But according to Unglesby and a portion of the Rant, they are both frick-ups carrying out a vendetta against an innocent student-athlete...

I'm not accusing Hillar of railroading JJ or doing anything to jeopardize his career. JJ did what he did, the DA and BRPD did what they did in response and it all has worked out pretty well for the team at this point.

Actually what he said was inconclusive was the DNA evidence taken from the shoes, not the entire case.
So just calm down, take a deep breath, unbunch your panties, and step away from the internet for a while
