did miles not win MOST of his games in his LSU tenure?
did Miles not have stretches of dominance?
in what way have proven that CEO is winning (albeit in different style) more than miles has won in years past with an average of 9.5 games won per season?
it's good that miles is gone. he was done, cooked. but we're trying to do better than with miles. and three wins over three fair to middling teams shouldn't have everyone has rock hard as they seem to be.

the audition is coaching teams and executing x and o's to see if CEO could be a championship level coach, year in year out and years into the future. Not whether this super talented team can beat teams it outclasses from the outset. There should be nothing you've seen that makes you think that CEO is doing anything other than what miles has done in past years. Or should've been doing this year (and last). ADDITIONALLY, nothing he's done that should discount him. but all this talk about whether or not he's earning the job by winning these games? these are games LSU should win. Consider margin of victory and energy factor and the difference is obvious. Games have been more fun and less painful to watch since Orgeron has taken over. Can we just enjoy it now and worry about the next coach when the season is over? Orgeron has at least earned that much respect after the first three games.

this is a statistical improbability. and you are clearly demonstrating that with every post you make.

Om has a damn good football team and has lost close games to good teams. LSU beat them badly, and if not for a few tough breaks, could have been a whole lit worse. Right now O is earning this job. Obviously that could change, but I'm going to enjoy it while I can instead of worry about something I can't control. Tell me, who do you want as coach, since obviously you don't want O.
i have not said that i do not want CEO. only that he has not yet passed a test worthy of propelling him to the frontrunner position.

Finally we can agree on something.

agreed. except we had similar margins of victory in our 7-0 run at the beginning of last seaso

i think that's fine. isn't that what i'm saying let's say wait and see before we promote him? that he hasn't done the actual test yet?
people have horrible reading comprehension on this board.

Since reading comprehension isn't your strong suit, let me break it down for you.
He's pumping the brakes on the vocal segment of the fan base that wants to hire Ed now. Not saying he isn't the best option.

I guarantee you that my IQ is higher. I would never start a chicken little thread like this. The fact that you don't even get how pathetic your thought process is says it all. Also, if you have more education than an MBA, you should try acting like it.

I may be in the minority but I agree with the OP. Orgeron brings a lot to the table as a position and interim coach. Great motivator, recruiter, and Loves LSU. But as a head coach, this is a lot tougher call to make. I'm not saying he should not get a serious look but LSU has to leave their options open. The problem with this is recruiting. Without a named coach, it's very difficult to recruit.

Stupid OP.
Beating teams supposed to ????
Like CLM, right?

My comparison of margin of victory was for 2016 games since both coaches had the same players, and your inference was that CEO has done nothing to earn the job, not to wait and see. Perhaps you can improve your written communications so that you are more satisfied with how they are comprehended.

Are you under the impression that miles didnt have the best win % in lsu history?
Im glad miles is gone but this ignorant talk if how shitty he was just isnt factual. He was fired for not keeping the standard HE SET.

No they don't have horrible reading comprehension skills. You are in fact completely downplaying what he has done so far, and worrying like a scared little bitch. He has done a great job so far. If he continues, he will be the next coach. If he falters, then he won't. All you had to say was he has done a great job so far, let's wait to see if that continues before anointing him. Instead, you completely downplay all he has done.

All I can judge off of is what I've seen so far and opinions change but as of now coach O is doing a fantastic job. Myself I'm not crowing anyone I'm being realistic. Of course we have a ways to go buy this same OM team lost what 4 games last year and whipped us last year so this was refreshing to see us battle until the 4th quarter ad pull away eventually. But I think most fans are just impressed by how explosive this offense is now and how teams are having trouble figuring out exactly what we are doing. Miles plan was to always enforce his will on opponents and when they would quit we would win. Well we are beating teams that are confident and ready for a fight now. They also can't quite figure out what we are doing on offense and it's causing them to make mistakes. See the wide open busted coverage TD. That never happened before and I think would and will happen more often if we take more shots.

3-0 against the spread, covering each game easily.

Gotta beat those too.
And hell, that's more than the one that got fired was doing.
