It is not about bunting more, it is about bunting the right situations. When you are in tournament play and you are down one run in the bottom of the 9th with the lead off man on, your only goal is getting the lead off man in scoring position, because you can't win it until you tie it, it is literally that simple. It is truly like coloring in the spaces, the only thing you need to do is execute. Especially when runs are at a premium in a low scoring game like tonight. So you can put me at the top of the list then because that was a bad coaching decision plain and simple. Does that mean that PM is a bad coach, absolutely not. But he made a coaching mistake, and I can promise you he knows it.
