Let's just say they are tier 1.

There are 8-10 teams in that tier and LSU is one of them

Top 5!

please with this Texas crap. They don't care about football there, the stadium is crappy. LSU has the best stadium and stadium experience in the country, top notch facilities, one of the 3-4 best talent bases(states) and LSU is the only rooster in the coup.

Are the only two that I would clearly put above. Maybe Notre Dame. Alot of other teams, (UF, UGA, USCw, OSU, Mich) can make arguments but our recruiting hotbed gives us a clear edge

ND on name alone. Weis pulled in a couple of top 5 classes there, cant be that hard to recruit.

Osu is in same boat as LSU. Lots of talent in ohio and one school. And they have the bigger fan base and name recognition than LSU does.

So no LSU is below ND and tOSU.

Id say even with Michigan because our recruiting gives us the edge over the name.

UF, UGA, USCw are in states with a lot more talent than LSU.

Lemme rephrase that then: LSU realistically has access to as much talent as any other program in the country when you factor in the fact that we border Texas and have a lot of fans there, don't have much competition in state, and we're a huge national brand with the ability to pull kids from any state which most people who have lived in LA their entire lives don't understand. I don't think that our access to elite players should be in question

1-3 Ohio St, Texas, Florida

4 Bama
5 LSU

Jesus you people are delusional.

You guys are going to sit here and tell me that there are only 4 other schools in the entire country that have a better tradition than LSU, has better facilities than LSU, that have access to top recruits, that pay coaches well, and that dont have their own unique culture?

Get out of here with this shite. you just described a dozen or more schools across the south alone.

Maybe not.

Top 10 certainly. On a good day, maybe Top 8. I'm not sure about Top 5. Certainly was from about 2003 through 2011.

Of course, that changes over time, a little. Was Notre Dame the entire time over the past 35 years? Michigan? USCw? Bama? Texas? Miami? Florida? Florida State? Oklahoma? Nebraska? Hell all of those have had an argument for #1 or #2 over that time. And that's 8 right there that could make up a hypothetical #5 of all time.

And your next tier group - Tennessee, UGA, LSU, Auburn, Clemson, Wisconsin, Oregon, Stanford (maybe), ETA: UCLA - You're at 20 candidates before you know it, pretty quickly.

Great talent but not a lot compared to other states, and other out-of-state programs have proven to poach some of our best.

And we poach from other states so it cancels itself out to a degree

The way our fans are with Les Miles I'm not sure I'd count this one.

Bruh..let me help you so you dont look dumb...

Texas makes the most revenue from athletics out of ANY school in the country...including Alabama.

LSU's stadium experience for the fans is meh.... many more amenities and facilities at the new TAMU stadium is top notch. LSU will have to upgrade soon to keep up with the arms race.

Georgia is nowhere close to a top 5 job. Top 15 maybe, but not top 5 and probably not even top 10.
