So if we lose to Bama (not happening)....will the brilliant minds that select the rankings move us to #4 since they think a one loss Bama to ole piss is worthy of a top 4 spot?

You know damn well that's not how this works. Only thing we can do is go undefeated.

No, but I think it tells you we aren't going to be done in with a loss to Bama. We'd probably fall to 7-8 and as long as we win out, we'll be right there

No but if LSU wins, Alabama goes to 3. Explanation being the loss to LSU would be a quality loss.

Would depend how we lose. A blowout, forget it.

We're not Alabama, we would get no second chances. We'd need a lot of help IYAM.

TCU or Baylor would have to lose a game and then beat the other one.

OSU would need to beat MSU and then lose to Michigan.

And it wouldn't hurt at all for ND to lose.

Get the sand out your vagina! We got a third chace in 2007, and we weren't Bama.

Hell no if we lose we will likely be #9 if not out of the top 10. We would have to win out and hope for Bama to lose again down the road to even have a chance at the playoffs.

Yea, but almost literally everyone in front of us lost that week. It was a once only situation.

If we lose to Bama we are far from out of it. If we dominate our remaining three games after Bama we will be in contention.

But if we win out we are in and probably #1.
