If an outside guy or gal is chosen to be the new voice , how will that sit with Hanny , Patrick wright , Kevin Ford , and any other media wannabes ?
Do these other guys feel entitled to be chosen ? You gotta believe there will be some jealous resentful sports personalities pissed off come hiring time.

To be honest, I don't think anyone likes working with him either. He hates to be corrected, and never concedes, even when he's wrong.

Who really cares ? They're all basically overgrown LSU student media kids that work for peanuts .. Ford tried some basketball this season when Jim was out and that was just horrendous .. Like I said earlier, the Hanny fans are those that love his talk show .. a good talk show host can wing three innings of baseball PBP .. Not 9 .. not football .. and not basketball .. it is time for LSU to grow up ..

Remember Larry Matson ?? He did basketball in 1982 .. He was Henderson's longtime sidekick with the Saints .. He's damn good .. Wonder if he's still around ?

IMO, I have no problem with him calling Baseball. Would not be very excited to hear him doing play by play for football and basketball. Needs more exciting voice for those 2 sports.

Well Henderson's retired besides Saints games and about 30 minutes a week on Fox 8.

There are a lot of people near the program that agree with you. One actually told me that he thought it would be a travesty if he didn't get it. Personally, though, nobody currently involved with LSU broadcasting excites me. In fact, I agree with the earlier posters advocating for no longer having a "Voice of the Tigers" and splitting itup by sport.
