I'm a realist too. How did we get to this point? Save the usual and over-used QB and NFL Draft crutches. It's still not enough to account for this. It just doesn't add up. Finish behind Marshall? Memphis? Air Force? Duke? I'm worried about the future of the program...

So one year makes your argument?

You just can't satisfy some people...seriously

he's the winningest coach in LSU history

That's not saying much

Dear God, but you are sports mentally challenged, aren't you.

#1, LSU ranks like Top 12 among college programs for most wins in the history of college football and ,#2, Miles obtained his wins during a time when the SEC has been by far the most dominate conference in college football. Something the SEC had never been for a continual period before bout 06. So yes, his wins say a hell of a lot.

When a poster begins to not only disrespect a coach, but LSU football as well...troll has to be considered. imo

This is the worst defense ever. It basically says that CLM struggles in CFB while having NFL talent. CLM is just an underachieving coach that half of the fan base will defend to the end

Now you've proved you don't know what you're talking about. 90% Of the players drafted will barely see the field the first couple years. Those that do, rarely are playing at a high level. OBJ is rare. Very rare. Those players are drafted on potential. If you don't understand that losing a player early that is just starting to understand what he's been taught for three years, you're an idiot. Compared to who has Miles underachieved?

A reason we have trouble beating Saban and Bama is the fact that Saban is better at keeping his players around the program longer than Miles....

I won't even compare him to another coach. I'll simply state that given the coaching job he has done since 2011 compared to the talent that has come thru....there seems to be a disconnect and the results speak for themselves.

Alabama guy, those results you think are speaking for themselves are only three percentage points lower than your boy Saban put up in greatest time in LSU history according to you goofballs.

Saban is put out by his circle jerk group here as the greatest coach in LSU history, but his winning percentage here was less than Miles's first five years here and less than Miles's second five years.

You bashers are losers! Les is the man at LSU, but you are too fricking stupid to know it.

Tell me what coaches in college football haven't been "out-coached" by those 3 and then tell me what coach in college football has more wins over those 3 than Miles?
s

My point is he's not the best game-day coach. Miles has beat Saban 3 times and one of those (2010) was given to him. Bama missed 2 or 3 fg's. Anyone who watched that game knows Bama was the better team that night. But they missed 3 fg's.

Are you fricking on drugs? Georgia had given up 20 points and 100 yards rushing a game give up almost 240 yards rushing and 42 points and you think that has nothing to do with the LSU offense? Give me a break!
Well one of us is on drugs and stupid but it isn't me. Let's break down that 42 points shall we?

1. First touchdown - Mathieu 62 yard punt return -KICKING GAME
2. Second touchdown - DEFENSE forces fumble at GA 27.
3. Third touchdown - Mathieu returns punt 47 yards to GA 17. KICKING GAME
4. Fourth touchdown - Simon intercepts at LSU 30. OFFENSE gets first real score by marching 70 yards.

At this point going into the fourth quarter with the score 28-10 and our defense playing great and Brad Wing keeping them pinned nearly the entire game, for all practical purposes the game was over. So of the crucial scores that brought us from behind and gave us a comfortable lead, One was scored by the kicking game. Two others were on series that only had to go 27 and 17 yards to go and even the one long drive was setup by a defensive interception.

In the fourth quarter another touchdown was scored by the DEFENSE as Claiborne did a pick six on them. Most of the Rushing yards you are so proud of were accomplished in the fourth quarter and 48 of those were on a Blue run straight up the middle that came about by your great GA defense being out of position.

So 28 out of 42 points were KICKING GAME and DEFENSE. Without them the score is 14-10 which is hardly beating them like a drum. So before you get all emotional and start slinging personal putdowns, deal with the facts.

I always thought the "better team" was the one who made the needed plays to win or stopped the other team from making those plays. You do recall the LSU DB taking the pass away from the Bama player at bout our 1...right. You do recall the LSU player making the 3 FGs...right.

Wait, maybe you are suggesting Miles out coached Nick since you think Bama was the better team but loss. That what you saying???
