And not Hilliard
Just rewatched that game this weekend, and didn't realize what a role Hilliard played. Albeit Honey Badger and Wing did a lot, KH blew it open down the stretch.

His time has come and gone. I've never liked him as a coach and never will. He never beat Mack Brown while at Oklahoma State (0-4) and he also lost the SEC championship in his first season. That's his legacy to me

Are you shitting me? Mack Brown only lost to 3 coaches in a regular season game in those 4 years. One of those coaches was Bob Stoops who Brown was 0-4 against in that time frame. Meanwhile Les Miles was 2-2 against Stoops with 2nd tier Oklahoma and Texas talent.

How did you feel about the guy that LSU hired before Miles who was 1-3-1 against PURDUE and lost to UAB in Tiger Stadium in his first season? Is that Nick Saban's legacy to you?

A few weeks later, LSU played a team that didn't get tired and lose focus. It resulted in 21-0

Against a team they had already beaten

That didn't have to play an SECCG

And had extra motivation and time to prepare. Bama was better that day....move on and support the program.

At least you are honest...BTW who should we have brought in instead of Miles?????????

It should have been Jimbo. Besides the overall record both Jimbo and CLM have a NC and 2 conference championships. Jimbo should have never had to work for CLM. Flynn was also one of Jimbo's recruits. Just imagine LSU with FSU's QB'S

should've won in 2011 if he wasn't stubborn

How is that? With Lee? Bama was the better team. Even in the 9-6 win. 5 missed FGs. He was unlucky that we had to face Bama again. We weren't gonna win the 11 NC with any QB we had.

The offense didn't beat them like a drum. The defense and kicking game did, neither of which Miles could take credit for.

Are you fricking on drugs? Georgia had given up 20 points and 100 yards rushing a game give up almost 240 yards rushing and 42 points and you think that has nothing to do with the LSU offense? Give me a break!

Play calling and who plays

You mean the play calling and who plays which set LSU up to go 12-0 against one of the toughest schedules ever played by LSU.

You bashers of the coaching moves in the 2011 season are some of the dumbest clowns around.

You can't seem to decide how you feel about Miles. A few days ago you stated that you have never said you hated Miles and that you think he's one of the top 5 coaches in the country. I realize that you're not saying you hate him by saying you're not much of a Miles lover, but you sure seem confused.

What the hell does beating Brown while Miles was at Ok. State have to do with what he's done while at LSU? Just admit you're an Okie State fan and go away.

besides Saban

Has Saban retired? Is he not the coach for one of our division rivals? Just wondering why he is so often taken out of the equation when judging other coaches.

It's sports. You are judged against your competition. When Saban is no longer our competition, THEN it will be valid to take him out of the comparison.

And lately, it's not just Saban. We only finished ahead of two teams in the SEC West last year, and one of them beat us like a drum.

I believe this with all my heart, had LSU either won or lost a close one to Alabama in the 2011 National Championship game, many would feel differently about Les Miles' legacy.

And you would be absolutely correct sir!

Well well well, if it isn't peewee. The great football critic who pontificates from on high. After all he coached PEEWEE football! He can speak from VAST experience

You are the same troll that called for little nicky to be drawn and quartered after the Florida game in 03. Then howled like a banshee the next year when he was mailing it in the whole season. Now he is your diety? The greatest thing since sliced bread. The ONE who everyone is compared to. You are a joke, you always have been and you prove it every time you post here

How in tarnation does a great coach - QB or no QB; NFL Draft or no NFL Draft; with a perpetual pipeline of talent - finish behind the likes of Marshall, Memphis, Air Force and Duke?
