Idk why you're getting so worked up. You knew who was playing two weeks ago. The way the two teams got to the BCSCG is irrelevant. Bottom line is they both got there. Either Stanford, Boise, Oregon, OSU, or OU probably would have gotten in over Bama had they won out. But they all choked. OSU lost to a fn 27 pt underdog.
So in closing, DWI. Better yet, you should have dealt with it weeks ago.

Bama is in the game because there was no other team that deserved it more than they did. Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Boise State, Oregon, and Stanford all could have made it had they just handled business. If any of them would have did what they needed to do, they would be playing in the game, but they simply didn't. At the end of the day, Alabama is the only team in the nation that can give LSU a game.
The UK vs UNC basketball comparison was a poor one, imo. A better one would have been how the Big East had 3 out the 4 top seeds in the tournament the year before last.

Tell Saban to drop it..heck he actually brought it up in the interview.

My opinion is, LSU earned the right to represent the SEC in the National Title game...all we have is a regular season...and based on that LSU came out on top!

Look folks this isnt about bama. Its about an inept system that can and was manipulated for the media's chosen #2. This year that happens to be bama.
If the bama and OSU identical resumes were reversed....bama would be in with no questions asked. To think otherwise is just flat out naive. WE NEED A PLAYOFF in future. That way bama can win their way there instead of being annointed by the media

Pretty much how I feel. Hell, if Oklahoma beat Baylor it would have set up a winner take all in Stillwater when they played.

OSU is the highest ranked conference winner other than LSU..they should be in based on that accomplishment.

It is what it is. You guys caught some breaks in 07. Bama caught some breaks in 11. I know I'm biased, but I feel confident when I say the two best teams in the country are playing for the crystal ball. And that's the way it's supposed to be.
Would beating Bama for the NC mean more to you than beating OSU? I would think so. If nothing else, it helps with LSU / UA recruiting battles.

I'm so happy for LSU that we don't have him representing LSU anymore. Saban is wound up way to tight to enjoy anything. Les knows how to enjoy football and his players reflect his personality in their play.

I'll say it again under the BCS rules we deserve to play in this game every bit as much as LSU does. The SEC Championship went to the winner on Nov5. The BCSNC goes to the winner on Jan 9. It was going to happen this way no matter who won on Nov5.

Ok,since you hate hearing it so much. I'll say it again. You shouldn't be there. You lost at home against us. Your ranked #2 because a bunch of idiot coaches who never watch games voted you to number 2 and a bunch of coaches who all had a stake in the outcome of the vote because they vote in the best interest of their own team or conference voted you #2.
