Who in the world saw that one coming before the season started? Do you guys think it has more to do with Beckwith's injury as to why he dropped below?

Anyway...congrats to both of these guys. 3rd round is a nice spot for both of them.

It has all to do with his injury.

ACL's are a bitch. And Duke did well.

I thought it was funnier that Duke was drafted ahead of Tim Williams. Williams was a top 100 prospect and Riley was around 500.

Of course it's because of injury

1. Injury
2. Pass happy NFL offenses
3. Beckwith is a thumper LB and average at best cover skills
4. Riley can cover better

Think the bigger surprise is Duke ahead of t williams. Being picked ahead of Beckwith could be attributed to injury but, we will never know.

Being picked ahead of Williams just shows Duke is a better man on and OFF the field.

And this is sad. Kwon had a devastating knee injury in HS and look what he turned into. Bet the Gumps regreted passing up on him.

Beckwith is one of the best LB ever to play at LSU.

A year ago people were touting Williams as the #1 overall pick and Duke had never even started a game at the college level.

Injury plus the fact that Riley really turned it on, especially in the latter half of last season.

Dude earned his paycheck.

Absolutely. He might not suit up til 2018. A healthy KB would've been the first ILB off the board this year. Even ahead of Foster.

There's a lot of factors that probly played into this. Duke ran really well at the combine and is a three down player while Beck has some injury concerns is more of a two down thumper plus football isn't Becks true and only love.

Mostly this. Can change direction better, while obviously Beckwith is a tank once he lines you up. Riley is just better suited for the NFL game.
