I don't think you should stand the entire game. Most mature people understand there are others around them and consideration should be afforded to them. However, on fourth down....STAND

Always stand at key moments.

Perfect.

I usually see what the majority of the section is doing and follow suit, especially if the person in front of me is standing and I can't reasonably see around them. Then I usually turn to the person behind me and say I am sorry but I have to stand, I can't see. If they bitch after that, frick em.

I had the same thing happen to me on third downs. People behind me were yelling at me sit down. I told them to STTDB and stand up. You have two legs for a reason.

I was in the south endzone. I stood and yelled on every single defensive play. So did everybody around me. Nobody complained. I only stood on the big offensive plays.

When LSU played Wichita State in the finals of some regional (midwest/mideast) I got a ticket from the night before loser. You had to buy the four game book. So instead of being at the end of the court, behind the backboard, Im at the middle of the court behind the announcers. I stood the whole game while these old fricks behind me kept tugging on my shirt. I told them this shite is history, and lsu is going to the final four baby.

this older man and his wife right behind me and my dad absolutely loved me. he hated the guy that kept telling me to sit. he was a season ticket holder there as well.

he told me, "you can stand in front of me as much as you want, just make some damn noise." i said, "yes sir".

people like that are what makes TS great, not that other douche.

OMG. No one should have anything to say if you stand and yell on those big plays. However, standing all game is done in the student section. If you like standing ALL GAME, then head to the sections where they do that. If you stand all game, all the people BEHIND you now has to stand because you want to stand. It's really simple.

You can stand whole game, its your right and privilege. Some guykept telling my die hard 10 yr old to sit down citing how he paid 85 for the tix....really?

So the people behind you don't have the right or privilege to be able to easily see the game from their seats?

I get standing up during big moments, but be considerate of others. The people behind you may not be able to comfortably stand the whole game.

Years back in the sugar bowl i had great seats but in the notre dame section. Was being my normal loud fan standing up most of the game and of course the ND fans went complain to the cops cause we were kicking their butts. Cop told me i had to sit during the play but could stand at any other time. So i stood till the snap and again as soon as the tackle was made. Cop watched me and laughed. told the ND fans a was "following the rules".

Every fan should have stood up for EVERY 3rd down last night!!! If you are at a game such as last nights game and NOT standing and cheering during those crucial times, you should have stayed home

I was in section 303. We stood for 90% of the game. No one told us to sit down bc they were standing to

Indeed. I'm cool with standing, but I went to a game once where my dad's back started bothering him from it. We were mostly standing because of the guys in the row in front of us. Luckily they were willing to switch with us once it got to be too much for him.

Heck no. The people behind you should've been standing too.
