Both of them shite on Miles for at least 7 years and LSU is the bad guy for finally letting him go.

To be fair, that other thread blew arse and was anchored because of the inordinate amounts of arse it blew.

This place hates Alleva and F. King, but if a national media pundit calls them out, people here lose their mind. I don't get it.

If you want to argue they're not a good enough reason to look elsewhere, fine, but I don't think many on here would be overly excited about those imbeciles as their bosses.

These are the same two idiots that said they would route against LSU the rest of the year and hope they lose every game. Said Monday after the sacking of CLM. They are trolls. Very rarely do they have anything nice to say about anyone.

They're NFL and NBA guys. They talk shite about the college fan base all the time and it's obvious they don't follow college football very much because they barely scratch the surface of all the college based subjects on their show

Kornheiser was a non-sports columnist before the Washington Post, hardly a leading light in sports journalism, let him start writing a few sports columns. He was put on MNF, and lasted about 15 minutes. He's a hack, and knows less about college football than my Schnauzer.
Wilbon's sports expertise begins and ends with the Chicago Cubs. 'Nuf said.

It's hard to really disagree that Texas job is better than LSU. Texas is richer, just about as good for recruiting, plays in an easier conference and has a much easier route to the playoffs, has slightly lower expectations and pressure it seems, and Austin is infinitely better place to live than BR. Plus no state income tax.

that is your opinion and you sure are entitled to it. but Austin ain't the eden you make it out to be. it's hotter than hell, drier than shite and has EXTREMELY high property taxes (often more than high enough to offset state income tax). their state government may be MORE crooked than Louisiana and, unless you like Mexican food isn't exactly the culinary capital of the world either.

Austin is the size of Nashville and there is no comparison; Nashville is on a much, much higher plane as a place to live.

I'm still trying to figure out why one would watch ESPN for anything other than live sports? 99.9% of the shows are hot garbage.

Yeah neither of the PTI guys have a clue about the college ranks, but I still don't see why so many people take issue with pundits calling out the administration. Don't we dislike the administration too?

You can argue the administration at USC and Texas is just as bad, and you're probably right, but seeing so many people defend Alleva and King when they're mostly hated on this board is weird.

I once spent a year in the Austin area/Hill country and the allergies are awful there...I couldn't stand Austin...it's a wannabe New Orleans...and a poor version at that...and btw, I disliked the UT campus...too many weirdos there...I can see why Ricky W. went there, if you get the drift...he fit in perfectly....lol
