This place hates Alleva and F. King, but if a national media pundit calls them out, people here lose their mind. I don't get it.
If you want to argue they're not a good enough reason to look elsewhere, fine, but I don't think many on here would be overly excited about those imbeciles as their bosses.
Yeah, but Texas where the HC is pretty much a dead man walking 2 and a half years in, or USC where you could get fired in your first year, have WAAAAAAY better bosses right?
Just face the facts, a lot of admins are shite.

Texas needs to get an AD first before they get a new HC

Texas won't be a rebuilding job. That roster will be ready to win. Strong has been doing the rebuilding last two years.

Of those 4 choices, LSU has been the most stable, most patient, and most successful program of this century.

On Hermann's choices of Texas, USC, Notre Dame or LSU.....both said anywhere but LSU...anyone else catch that....
Screw those hacks...I guess it's perfectly ok to do what Texas is doing to Strong?

No state income tax
Check out that property tax. Want a 7-10k dollar tax bill?

Let's not forget that Mack Brown won a national title in 2005, Les Miles won one in 2007. Mack Brown lost in the championship game to Alabama in 2009, Les Miles lost in championship game to Alabama in 2011. Mack Brown was forced out after 2013, Les Miles four games into 2016.
If anything LSU gave Miles and extra shot at keeping his job over what Texas gave Mack Brown.

On a multi million salary, it's probably better to pay the property tax.

You can argue the administration at USC and Texas is just as bad, and you're probably right, but seeing so many people defend Alleva and King when they're mostly hated on this board is weird.
Who said we like them? Who defended them? They handled this whole thing poorly but they finally got the job done and appointing Coach O as the interim HC was the obvious play but yes USA and Texas Administrator is easily just as bad if not worse. People are mostly upset because these two idiots are acting like Miles was fired for no reason because they have no clue and don't care to do any research.

[quote] Texas is richer, just about as good for recruiting,
Wealthier by a mile. Better job for recruiting as well. And most would consider Austin a much better place to reside than BR. Theres a reason for high property taxes its called education and with the no state tax its almost a push anyway. LSU football HC is a good job. Texas is a great job its at the level of USCw, Alabama and Ohio State. Thats why Saban was interested a couple of years ago. These are the schools that when they get the right coach dominate their conferences.

You do realize that all sports "talk" shows are scripted just like "reality tv" to get as much attention as they can and to fit whatever agenda they may have at the time to stir up the brainless masses. Do yourself a favor and find another hobby besides watching a bunch of scripted arguments.

Baton Rouge is,awful. Ridiculous traffic, chain restaurant catalog of the world. It's a never ending mini-mall, not cool. I'm a grad and love lsu but the city of br is awful. Austin is pretty and more cultured and fun. Still I think as it sits lsu is a better job

LSU definitely better than ND but hard to deny UT and USC are sexier jobs
