@LSUBaseballEQ: BP tops for jerseys tonight. They were pretty successful last season, let's see if we can top it this year!

The range is great, but how many times a game is there a hit there that KRob gets that someone else wouldn't

Quite often actually

Like Hale? Already been tried this year and last. Br Jordan and Byrd? KRob to this point has been better offensively as well as defensively to these guys.

Thats 32 ABs to 11 and 6 so you can't really compare there.

Also, though only 2 attempts, Byrd hasn't made an error so again, you can't say Kramer has been better.

Also, when Deichmann is back I think he gets a shot.

Great point. I think Bouman should be batting in the 3 hole. Dude just needs more reps.

Showing your intelligence I see. This is why you can't have a legitimate discussion with some people.

On that note Byrd hit .570 as a junior in high school and was drafted as a senior, but you're right I'm sure getting him some reps would be a bad idea. No way he's possibly as good as krob.

Its Byrds fault that he hasn't seen more action...genius. Moving on, enjoy the season.

It's a shame Byrd didn't get any chances to catch Coach Mainieri's eyes in fall practice and scrimmgaes. I really wish Coach Mainieri would have let him participate in January and February scrimmages.

Oh wait...

Bregman seems untouchable in the lineup and I personally would like to see a shake up in the order with Bregman moving a couple of spots down. Maybe that'll light a fire under his arse.

Bregman is 10 for 35. He was robbed of an infield hit in a game about a week ago. He was clearly safe, and the ump blew the call. If it's called correctly, Bregmen is hitting 314, almost exactly his average last year.

People who are calling for a lineup shakeup based on such a small amount of data are buffoons.

And sure, CPM is moving other folks around. But that's because he is experimenting with the moveable pieces. Bregman is not a moveable piece - maybe between 2nd and 3rd, but not 7th for goodness sake.

Not naming names. But there is one who thinks the OF should be Fraley Laird Foster

Foster is probably the best outfielder we have. He throws waaaay harder than Stevenson, Laird or even Fraley (who has a solid arm). On top of this, Foster has more pop, to all fields, than all of these guys except for Fraley.

Let us just see where our OFs are ultimately drafted. You must be able to throw the freaking ball and keep runners from taking extra bases on you. Kind of like when Foster threw a frozen rope to keep that guy on third last night from foul territory in left-field. If that is Laird in LF, they tag up.

Stevenson's ability to cover both gaps with relative ease outweighs all of Foster's tools and it's not even close.

he showed off his qb arm last night on that popup in foul territory. The runner didn't go but foster fired a rocket to home.
