BTW just looking at some stats, we are 1-14 with the bases loaded this year. Ouch.

But Bregman had two RBI's in two at bats with the bases loaded last night.

I didn't like leading off with 2 lefties. But I just think it's where those two guys need to be. I also debated switching Foster and Zardon.

Bregman - SS
Zardon - 3B
Stevenson - CF
Foster - DH
KRob - 2B

Solid lineup, but I'd switch Stevenson and Zardon just to not have 4 right handed hitters in a row.

I wanted a power hitter behind Bregman. I still want him protected.

Are triples not considered "power"?

Stevenson has been knocking the shite out of the ball. He's showing some power to the gaps and down the line this season.

ETA: Stevenson - 3 triples, 1 doube; Zardon - 2 HR's, 2 doubles. Fairly similar IMO.

What about moving Chinea to 1B move Hale to 2B and bench KRob.

It's not like KRob is bringing anything to the table offensively. Hell move Hale to 3B and maybe Zardon to 2B. I just don't thibk KRob deserves to be in the starting lineup at this point. At least Chinea is hitting above .300.

KRob is the second best infielder on the team. We need him in the middle of the defense IMO. As long as he hits above .250, we will just have to suck it up IMO.

ETA: Although he's down to .219 now

That weakens our defense IMO. It's all about whether you want you want to sacrifice that for more offense.

We have offense to sacrifice it seems. Not defense.

You and I agree on this. I don't think Zardon looked bad at 1b last night

Obviously KRob is great defensively, but he has become an extreme liability at the plate. At some point his inability to hit the ball is going to out weigh his defensive skills. I'd personally like to see someone else get a crack at 2nd.
