Matt Moscona ?@MattMoscona 2m2 minutes ago
Mark Laird is not in the #LSU lineup today vs Grambling. Injured shoulder vs SFA Tuesday. Not serious and expected back vs Houston @1045espn

The runner didn't go but Foster fired a rocket to home

That was a great throw.

In an earlier game, Fraley spun around a threw a strike to second base from behind the bullpen. It was very impressive.

Stevenson's ability to cover both gaps with relative ease outweighs all of Foster's tools and it's not even close.

Stevenson's defensive prowess is wayyy overblown. Laird too for that matter. If they both run 6.6 which is absolutely blazing then they might catch a couple of balls a year that 6.8 or 6.9 guys wouldn't get to. They both have noodle arms though and couldn't cut down a runner heading home if they were throwing from 2nd base. If a strong arm guy like Foster played all year he might get 10-12 assists. Laird and Stevenson had 3 combined last year. That is terrible!
