Just moved from BR to Jacksonville last month so this would be awesome. Selfishly

It appears that we are willing to forfeit gate receipts to get this game in. Orlando, Nashville, and Bobby Dodd Atlanta will have tiny crowds. The only decent crowd alternative is New Orleans -- estimated 45k with a last minute change.

Both teams get paid by espn, pretty sure "the gate" had nothing to do with it.

I would imagine the gate went to the production company putting it on and that will be covered by an insurance policy. Ticket sales rank probably middle of the pack amongst issues when deciding where to play.

I will be driving back from Miami to Baton Rouge with my wife and kids on Saturday. If it ends up being anywhere in Florida I will certainly try to be there.

It will be interesting to see how this storm will affect the decision on NOLA hosting.

They should just move it out here to BYU. Yes, I'm selfish so I can attend.

On top of that - I'd love to watch all the sad BYU faces as they exit the stadium @ halftime.

So you think that we scheduled this game at this location against this opponent with the mindset it was a neutral site game?
Had they wanted to play the game in Denver, it doesn't happen. Had they wanted to play the game anywhere but Houston or Dallas, we would never agree to it. When your athletic director comes out and tells you that these types of games are "home" games, then yeah it's supposed to be a "home" game.

Arkansas, the armpit of America. No thanks.

My only reason for the vote is that I live in this armpit and it would be convenient. Plus, imagine how I could rub it in the faces of these Pig fans when LSU outdraws U of A in Little Rock.

The last time LSU played there, they put a beatdown on the Heisman trophy winner.

You are stupid.

Cotton Bowl, Jerry world, Dallas cowboy stadium, AT&T Stadium are all the same thing.

I don't even know why I'm responding to such idiocracy.

The cotton bowl game is played at AT&T stadium aka cowboy stadium aka Jerry world in Arlington

The cotton bowl stadium is in fair park just southeast of downtown Dallas.

Arlington. The old texas stadium was in Irving.

You're correct. I'm thinking Irving because that's where the previous stadium for the Cowboys was.
