No reason Dallas isnt the choice. Cotton Bowl or Jerry World Monday night. Easy solution and weather will be fine.

Again, this is all on ESPN now. Neither school has a say.

BYU isn't going to play a Monday night game the week of their biggest rivalry.

It's slated to rain all week in Orlando
Would suck to play in sloppy conditions given other choices on the table.

If it's in Nashville, be prepared to spend $400/night on downtown hotel rooms. I doubt there are enough rooms in downtown any way.

If this OP is correct, there must be BYU push back against New Orleans, which makes sense on a couple of levels.

Heck, why not Consider Sydney or London, while we're at it?

There's one good reason, no one wants to play on Monday.

Looks like I won't be going to the game if it's out there.

Nashville would be great to continue our recruiting footprint in Tennessee. We just took two of their best players.

The only issue with New Orleans is the fear of rain late in the week. Mormons go around knocking on random people's doors all over the world do you really think they balking at NOLA because of Bourdon St.?

Cotton Bowl is a no, natural grass and rain all week. Superdome or 8:30 kickoff at Jerry World are the most logical choices. Wherever the game is to played needs to be announced today.

Anywhere in the Eastern part of Texas is a bad idea. That state needs to focus it's emergency units on helping people in Houston and the surrounding areas. Not a football game.
