Those other guys get the benefit of being on teams that are going to sling the ball around more often too.

the difference is Landry catches those balls no matter what. That's what separates OBJ and Landry

Every play is different. I'm pretty sure If a DB was holding one of Landry's arms while jumping up 40" to catch a ball with the other hand he would have a hard time catching the ball. That happened twice to OBJ Saturday. I think they are both very special and neither player has dropped many that they should have caught. Very seldom is Landry double covered like OBJ.

If you can't see that Landry has been more sure handed and consistent, I dont know what to tell you.

OBJ gets a lot of hype for his ST play and the biletinikoff is an award for WRs.

Landry as a Reciever>OBJ as a reciever

Take the p&g glasses off guys, it's very hard to pick just 3 out of a group of very talented WRs nationwide. It's a shame that Matthews from Vandy isn't on the list, but it's hard to justify taking off any of the three finalist. Just a ton of competition this year.

Just wasn't good enough, needed to make a few more plays this year. The talent is there he just presses to much.

I'd have probably put Jordan Matthews from Vandy over both ODB and Juice. that kid is Vandy's passing game, and is about to leave with a bunch of SEC records.

And they aren't ours? Who else catches the ball? Plus now I know Evans game. Pi every freaking play. He then finally goes up against a true frosh tall CB that played him physical and he does nothing except for one catch in the 4th when the game was over. Yet or under 6ft wrs out played him.

If they give the award for pushing off and being a whiny bitch, Evans wins hands down.
Watching him go ballistic at the end of the first drive when he didn't get an interference call was priceless. I'm going to have to find a gif on that one.

It should have been between he and Evans. Cook and Watkins have not produced their results under the same defensive pressure or against the speed of the SEC corners. Sucks for OBJ

They shoulda waited till after the games to release that. RR shut Evans down and obj has > 2000 yards

I'm going to have to agree with you.

We all love Odell, but this award is based ONLY on his receiving efforts. Not his total season's work. It is fair.

Unfortunately, two of our most productive receivers in program history have banner seasons in a year full of stud wideouts.

But as for OBJ and Landry, each is the reason the other isn't going to win.

This is correct reason. Just can't split those 2500 yards between them and match the other players on the list.

I wonder how many in here have actually seen Cooks play. Kid is dynamic.

And yes while OBJ had a great season I am in the camp that thinks he's not the best WR on his own team. Hard to say anyone can get shafted out of being one of the top 3 WRs this year when there are so many good ones.
