You want to: get accredited so that we can go through arbitrary channels to get older unhealthy tigers and have to submit to ever changing standards in order to receive a new tiger every 10 years.
I've already addressed and debunked this point
quote:
I believe: we can get a young healthy tiger cub that will live for 20-26 years that we can put in our facility that exceeds any accreditation standards, and acclimate him to our traditions and if we want to take him out of his cage for any reason we can.
How?
By what methods and standards?
With what knowledge of the big cat exchange environment?
Have you called Dr. Baker and let him know that he's doing it wrong?

Debunked?
I guess you missed this part:
And Mike VI says hello from the grave.
If a looser in Mexico can get one I think LSU could.

I hear what you're saying, and would love to be able to get a brand new tiger cub whenever we want and run him through the streets on a spiked collar and leash right into the opposing team's locker room. Problem is, its illegal to get a black market tiger cub like the vato that got arrested in Mexico doing that exact thing. As of now, the school cannot legally go buy a tiger, and we have to resort to someone donating one to us from a rescue center now, leaving us at the mercy of the rescue centers. After looking at all the information and reading the arguements, as the law stands now, this is the best way for LSU to acquire a new, young, bred in captivity tiger. Yes, I hate it and want Mike on the field, just like it has always been before VI quit coming. If we are accredited and are not at the mercy of others to acquire our tiger, I'm for it.

That guy is also in jail for having the black market tiger. I'd rather keep Mike than have him confiscated.

Can you read? I've literally already addressed this exact point
quote:
And Mike VI says hello from the grave.
We got Mike VI as a cub and he was in perfect health. He was chosen from a group of cubs

If a looser in Mexico can get one I think LSU could.
Not sure what a "looser" is, but I don't think you understand anything that you're talking about including the regulations against big cats in the US.
You still haven't answered how it would be so easy, despite acting like an expert on subject.

Very well said

VI was 2 years old and in great shape when he came to LSU. He got cancer. It sucks, but it had nothing to do with how LSU was able to obtain him.

I think we're all waiting for you to come back and respond how this is relevant.

I will bet 100 juice boxes the next Mike makes it into the stadium on game days.

We are lucky to have Dr. Baker absolutely! And his staff who are equally committed to Mike's welfare. And as you say, Mike serves LSU in a much greater capacity than yes, even football.

Film him pacing around and roaring. Make the walls of the tiger cage LED screens. Play the video on a loop hooked up to some hidden speakers in the opposition tunnel as they are coming out.

I like your idea more than mine

This is not Auburn or some high school. Don't give into those liberal cucks. All they know is take take take and once you give in, the bar will be moved and you will be theirs for the reaping. It's time to fight for Mike and the traditions of LSU!!!! Mike I is probably rolling over in his grave right now because of this garbage.

This takes away the arguments of PETA and other groups. .
Since when does PETA get to tell us what to do with our tiger on our campus? Grow a pair and tell PETA to get lost.

Dude the new Mike was such a wuss. We hadn't had a tiger aggressively roar in TS in over 10 years. Hippy liberals don't ever want animals to feel uncomfortable.

It was obviously never a public movement, but it's what he wanted. He wanted to turn the current habitat into a memorial or "exhibit" for Bengal tigers. Nothing was ever formally proposed, but it was brought up on more than one occasion with a few of the Chancellors.

Why, why, why would anyone at LSU give a tiger turd about what PETA thinks???
I'd rather have a King Alexander memorial.

Last year, King was pushing hard to end the live tiger program entirely. He wanted to transform Mike's habitat into a "Bengal tiger memorial."
I'd rather have a King Alexander memorial.
