There's been some analysts that say Milroe and Bama's offense has improved so I looked at their last 3 games.
Tenn
14/21 220 yds 2/1 TD/INT 4 sacks 3 yards rushing

Arkansas
10/21 238 yds 2/0 TD/INT 5 sacks -19 yards rushing

@A&M
21/33 321 yds 3/1 TD/INT 6 sacks -31 yards rushing

Our D clearly struggles, but Milroe has been sacked 4+ times in every game vs a D1 opponent. There are going to be opportunities to make possession ending plays ie. sacks if House is willing to dial up pressure and not play a conservative D. That means we likely give up big plays as well, but I think he needs to go high risk, high reward and bring blitzes. Milroe can get rattled if he's hit enough and he's not making big plays with his feet.

We know our offense can score so it's worth the gamble.

He holds onto the ball long so the DL and Perkins should provide pressure.

House needs to be able to bait him into some throws.

Honestly, Milroe can be confused easily but he rarely gets rattled.

I've seen him run right into sacks or throw atrocious interceptions then come right back and throw a dime for a touchdown.

This is why you can't let up if you get up on Bama, see the Tennessee game.

I submit that all of those defenses are better than that of LSU. We'll see soon enough if BK has them prepared.

He’s pretty bad. He would be 3rd team at LSU

He won’t beat us

I've already mentally prepared myself for Milroe to "nearly" be sacked at least 10 times, then run 15 yards for a first down.

His pocket presence is awful, he doesn't feel pressure or escape from it well at all. Especially when they leave backs and tight ends in to protect.

I think he focuses too much on not wanting to be a "running quarterback" that he sits back there longer than he should.

Dude would be far more dynamic if he just pulled and ran when the first and second reads weren't there.

I agree its the exact opposite of Jordan Travis. Travis had elite pocket presence at least vs LSU past 2 years.

Blitzing is not the only way to apply pressure. As long as they get creative with their pressures we can have success against their offensive line.

He hit a few big plays in the 2nd half, but the real turning point was Bama's D shut the Vols down in the 2nd half. I don't see that happening with our offense.

He can look like hot garbage for 5 series and then drop it in the bucket for a 70yd td. Then on the next drive after looking bad for two plays rips off a huge scramble which leads to a score. Suddenly you are scratching your head as to why Bama is back in the game or leading.

We need our zone to cause him some trouble get pressured and make throws he doesn’t want to make.

A negative a factor for our defense all year has been a running qb who can still make plays. Need to not give up easy TDs this week

It will come down to how well our young DB's communicate with each other. The talent is there, but the coordination may not be. And we'll end up giving up big plays.

With our offense if he looks bad for 5 series they are going to need a lot more than 2 series to get back in the game

So 35-7 TIGAHS@ the half. I’ll allow it
