Looking for Contractor recommendations in Metairie/NOLA to put a 500sqft addition on my house.
Anybody have experience with any design/build type contractors for Home Additions?...

there was a whole tiktok series of a guy doing this exact same thing and ppl crowdsourced and told him how to do it. His pond went from cloudy muck brown to almost a blue lagoon. Maybe try searching for it on there.

Wife and I (No Pics) like to go to happy hours on Fridays and are looking for something new. (Recently we've been to Boulevard, Pizza Domenica, A tovola, Ruths, Desi Vegas, landrys)
We like places that have food on happy hour as well as drinks.
What yall got?...

I'm sure a lot has changed but we only had one meal we considered great and it was at The Bank restaurant almost on Trinity College Campus.
Really cool old bank turned restaurant with the old vaults down by the bathroom....

We did a snorkeling excursion to isla muijeres, which was very nice. How young is your kid? there were kids on the boat who did the snorkeling....

I can make a relaxed roux in 30-45 minutes, some stirring every couple minutes.
I can also make a 10-15 minute roux where you cannot stop stirring at all. depends on my mood and time I have.
The only difference is temperature...

I don't but some people i know add chinese red pepper or powdered tabasco peppers(much hotter than cayenne)....

We did the Adventure Group. It was a good mix of boat time, snorkeling and time on the island. Drank a ton of Victoria Beer on the boat. Would do it again

We went this November for the first time. It is a beautiful property that is very well maintained.
We really enjoyed 75% of the food (which is higher than most AI's). French and Indian restaurant were great.
The bartenders work their butts off to make good drinks all day.
We had a rooftop...

make at home for cheap and easy.
1. use Ooni app for pizza calculator (grams of flour, salt, water, type of yeast, temperature of house, hours you have for it to proof, etc...)
2. Let big ball of dough proof for at least an hour with instant yeast, and then ball into individual pizza doughs and ...

Had ATT Fiber in my neighborhood in Metairie for 3 months it was great no issues.
Verizon 5G Home internet came out and it was locked in $25 for 10 year, so i switched. Every now and then it can be spotty but for the most part we do not have a lot of issues. Slightly slower speeds than fiber whic...
