He had the only good season by an LSU QB since 2007, and you think he was overrated here?

Please.

i think it makes a ton of sense for them to trade him.

he is only going to lose value sitting on the bench behind mariota.
and like it or not they are married to MM now.

I hope Denver trades for him and lets him learn from another pocket passer.

Yeah. Maybe. But if the Titans start losing; pressure takes a toll.

Mett will be starting for an NFL team by the end of the year. Maybe even TEN.

He could easily start on about half the NFL teams including the Giants Go Eli

The Rams are perhaps a QB away from a perennial playoff team. Mett would wreck shite with their defense and running game.

Mett is also 0-6 as a starter right at 60% completion with 8 touchdowns and 7 interceptions. He's also being sacked 18 times. Now, the Titans have a horrendous offensive line, but Mettenberger also has cement blocks for shoes.

Saying that he could start for "multiple" NFL teams is a little much.

You're right. Id take RG3, Manziel, Geno Smith and Hoyer over Mett all day.

I know this is a hard concept to grasp for LSU fans but you don't need to be a "dual" threat QB to be successful.

Live in Nashville and personally watched every one of those 6 games with Mett under center. Mett played very competently. But he proved not to be a "world beater" on a very poor team with multiple weaknesses and knew they were going no where...positioning for the draft. Mett was the least of their problems, and showed tremendous upside potential.

Manning's rookie year:

3-13, 26 TD's/28 Int's/3700 yards/71.2 rating

Brady's first year as a starter, not rookie year with belichick as coach and an established team:

2800 yards, 18td's/12 ints/41 sacks and 12 fumbles/86.5 rating

And neither of those guys was less than a year removed from an acl tear. Some people are either morons in general or don't know sports. Probably both

What a tool you are Throbinhood

He got sacked 8 times a game and didn't have a WR that could catch a cold. Oh yea and NO running game.

So you have no idea how bad the Titans are at so many other positions
