Their QB was a safety last year can't complete a forward pass over 5 yards. Let's be real here.

He looked awful vs LSU but threw for 283 yds and 3TDs the following week.

Sure he may not be great, but perhaps the LSU secondary is actually pretty good.

Hey Jaguar fan, let's get Southern on the schedule and then we will be playing garbage teams.

Not saying he CANT get better, just that he was air mailing passes and missing by 10 yards.

The frick?

We had over 2 bills rushing against them with not threat of a passing game taking their D out of the box.

I've said it before, the law of averages works in their favor

The bad news for State is that the "law" of averages isn't a law but rather wishful thinking. There are no mathematical principles that support that so called "law"

If you couldn't tell, my post was meant as an insult to State.

I hope coach Miles doesn't stubbornly run the ball.

Agreed - could be an ugly night offensively if so.

I think LSU could pick apart MSU's secondary to help open up the run.

This is why I never understood playing Harris so much in the 2nd half of just about every game. AJ still needs those reps and playing against JV competition was the time to get your feet wet in the mid passing game.

Holy crap. If he didn't play him this place would be up in arms. Wtf. Btw I agree Harris should have been given a ton of short routes to throw.

Miles: "The team with the Bengal tiger (Panthera tigris tigris) device upon their headgear has a want to compete at the highest level

victory is possible.

I bet many picking State dont believe AJ will be successful in the passing game.

LSU's coaching expertise will be showcased this Saturday. Cameron and Chavis will put on a clinic.

This can not be overstated. With Miles, Cam, and Chavis, LSU has a huge coaching advantage over State in this game. Mullen overthinks and coaches himself out of games; it's embarassing. Even though State has better talent this year compared to years past, we will win. The only chance State has is to hope for some bad voodoo.

Well, consider what they did to our defense for over a half of football then.

I think the D has improved, however.

Like I've said for a while, LSU wins in a blowout. We never lose to them and there's nothing impressive at all about Mississippi State again this year. Same result, just a different year.
