I think after the 2016 Wisconsin game is when it would have been the toughest to believe

I can still see the look on Harris’s face when Lesticles told him he was putting Etling in. I kind of felt bad for him but it was the right move. He was pissed and mopped but we beat Lamar Jackson the Heisman winner in Horelando. We never would have had the success we had those couple of years had Harris still been the QB.

Imagine telling a time traveler from JUST LAST YEAR that LSU would have an unstoppable offense, helmed by a QB who arguably was better than Joe Burrow...and still had 3 losses because of having literally the worst D in the country.

There is no more reason to speak that name again. He'll be broadcasting the SEC title game tomorrow, but since LSU isn't in it, there's no reason to bring anything from that game to this board.

Only if they are transfers. Qbs that are recruited to LSU are pretty much non existent

We went through Anthony Jennings, Brandon Harris, and Danny Etling to have Burrow and Daniels to win the Heisman lol.

LSU quarterbacks have averaged all together a total of 36 passing touchdowns a year the last 5 seasons. 39 without the partial covid season.

That’s twice I can think of where we were on the edge of game-winning field goal range and decided to throw with terrible QBs. That’s what led to 09 “clock it” debacle too.

We've totaled 180 touchdown passes from QBs from 2019-2023.

We totaled 180 touchdown passes from QBs from 2008-2018.

Let’s see: 2019 season, that makes 1 season; then 2020 season, that makes 2 seasons; 2021 makes 3 seasons; 2022 makes 4 seasons; then we have 2023, which makes 5 seasons. No matter how I count it it’s 5 seasons. Guess I have 2 wasted math degrees. LOL

I still do wish we could actually recruit a QB out of high school so we can have someone for more than 2 seasons.
