re: Looking for video of LSU Tulane 1984 fight game

I have the whole game on VHS. The end of the game was the fight. It's pretty awesome. Alot of trash talking at the line of scrimmage just prior to the fight. We scored and a Tulare cheerleader spit on Eric Martin as he scored. That kinda started it too.

I was at the FSU game and we left early. I was pissed that when we got back to the van and turned on the TV to only see a fight broke out. That was the only thing our team showed up for that day.
Also, FSU stadium was a shithole back then. Wood bleachers in the endzones.

Yep.
Sucks that the sorry state of the team overshadowed so many solid players and Darren was one of them. Guy was pretty much a badass IMHO but all anyone knows is the shitty records.
I actually stumbled upon Brian Jenkins the other day and it brought back memories.
It was funny how boo's old man hated wearing shirts to games.
ETA: Cendoya was impressive in that throw down too.

we lost in TS in 82 was no fight then. Reggie Reginelli made the tigers his bitch on a 4th and 3.
In 83 Jerry Stovall's last game coaching the tigers. game was in the dome, no fighting in that game.

We lost in '82 and there was a huge fight that night. It was a rainy night in Tiger Stadium, I remember it well.

I was at that game and will never forget Shawn Burks flying through the air ank taking out a green slime player and the dumb TULANE player who thre his helmet to the ground and jumped into the fight.

Was at the game and the funniest thing I ever saw was 2 old men 1 dressed in tulane shirt and 1 dressed in LSU shirt cussing and swinging their walking canes at each other. I will never forget this sight as long as I live!!!

I remember listening to that game on the radio. I watched the highlights on Channel. 9 afterwards. They showed a Tulane lineman using his helmet o beat LSU fans coming out of the stands.
