re: Credit Card Rewards Calculator - The Connoisseur
There's a new startup/app that analayzes your last 3-6 months (maybe more) of purchases and recommends a credit card for you and breaks down each option for you points wise, cash back, etc. Unfortunately...... I read about it on business insider (or something similar) and can't remember the name...

re: Meril's in New Orleans, Emeril's new restaurant, anyone been? - The Connoisseur
Pretty much agree with everything BlackedOut said. I really enjoyed it. Reasonably priced IMO and a lot of different options. Great spot for sharing a lot of different things with people. I did not try any of the drinks as I went for lunch but they looked good as well. The interior is pretty cool to...

re: Any tips on taking the GMAT? - The Connoisseur
Kaplan classes are pretty good. Just make sure the class size isn't too big. I was in a smaller class and it really helped me. Also, I'm sure you looked into this but see if the program accepts the GRE. It's much easier IMO. Focuses more on reading comprehension based questions versus algebra ba...

re: Ethical Dilemma in business - The Connoisseur
Look at [link=(http://www.procon.org)]Procon.org[/link]. They have the pros and cons of both sides for a ton of controversial issues. I'm sure you can find something recent that's a business ethical dilemma on their. Also, it gives you all the sources and has the research basically done for you. Obv...

re: Chic-fil-a brining back the orginal BBQ sauce - The Connoisseur
I'll have to try again. I asked once and they said they didn't serve it anymore. Another time I asked for a spicy chicken sandwich and they made that without hesitation. I was like
Yeah, I've only been twice since they got rid of it so it could have been dumb luck. Ha or they cou...

re: Chic-fil-a brining back the orginal BBQ sauce - The Connoisseur
Let me know when they bring back the spicy biscuit
Been twice since they announced they were getting rid of it. Both times it wasn't listed on the menu and I asked for it. They never even hesitated and it was just as good as when it was listed on the menu. So I think all you've got...

re: Drizly Alcohol Delivery - The Connoisseur
Had friends who have used it. They all said it worked great. But I wish they would be open later. I'm sure it's because there retailers close early but I think they stop at 6. The biggest use I see for it personally is having more alcohol when I shouldn't be driving and or while having a party or at...

re: Quick Review of my Trip to Fredericksburg, TX over Labor Day - The Connoisseur
Odd. I've been there but never really checked out the town. A lot of golfing. Would like to check it out next time I go. Sounds like a cool city. But not happy to hear about spots closing early ...

re: Traveling to Austin: Uber/Lyft Alternative Needed (UPDATE) - The Connoisseur
I went one of the first weekends after the ban started. My friends suggested Getme. It worked but is no where near Uber/Lyft. Again, this was in the very beginning so the app surely has gotten better ...

If it was downtown, absolutely. I know, big if. ETA: just like I think the Zephrys would have a good following if they were downtown. Location location location. ...

re: Getting out of Uverse - The Connoisseur
This worked for me recently with Cox cable. I was in a contract with them and had to move out of my place. I told them where I was moving to didn't offer cable which was the truth but they didn't push or even try to verify and said no problem. Let me cancel with no fee. That's really crappy you'...

re: Monday Night Raw Thread: Post-Pools of Blood Edition - The Connoisseur
FWIW the Dudleyz were my favorite team growing up and I was always rooting for them in their triple rivalry with the Hardys and E&C. If this is a legit retirement I hope they do it right (so far so good with old clips) and since they're in NYC and the Dudleys are from NYC it seems as good a p...

re: Let's talk about NFL gamepass - The Connoisseur
Says the regular season NFL Sunday ticket is 270 and the "Max" one is 360. Think you'd need the max to stream. I don't think you have to be a direct TV customer either. Why don't you find a buddy who buys it for his house and make a deal you will split it and you pay 180 to stream it and connect to ...

re: Amazon echo - The Connoisseur
I got one on prime day two weeks or so ago. I'm kinda in the same boat as you. It's nice in the morning you can ask it to give you news but I've found it to basically be a Bluetooth speaker. It's not "smart" like Siri or other similar things I've used. You have to phrase everything perfect or else i...

re: Man punches bear trap.. Video - The Connoisseur
Nope. I've been through two wrist surgeries already. You try brushing your teeth or wiping your arse left handed and soon enough, you'll be ready to pay $$$ to have full use again. The claws looked far enough apart not to crush his wrist but those bones are pretty fragile.
Fair enou...
