I'm sorry but logical LSU fans should be concerned as shite getting blown out 37-7 against State.

There's a middle ground between being concerned and saying a HC sucks and should be fired after one game.

It doesn't have to be one or the other.

Well of course.

If people think he needs to be fired tomorrow, they're silly because that's just not the real world.

But, that's how this is going to all end. He's going to get fired. He should never have been hired.

How often does a new coach come in and not miss a beat?

I know he had 2/3s of last season and he was on the staff.

Still he changed the offense he changed alot of things about the day to day team activities.

Its going to take time. 8-4; 9-3 was a realistic goal this year.

Sat was slightly alarming, but people calling to fire the coach after one loss are idiots.

I disagree with your 95% of the shite. It's probably 75%.

What is insane , as I look out at the wasteland that has been the Rant since even before Saturday, is the number of dead fuken equine carcasses still being whipped, bludgeoned and mutilated, clear out to the horizon.
I suggest to the admins, that they start throwing out subjects that have no new clue as to what is happening. But the group think is too strong. The place would be mostly silent, so it shall continue. Line up dead horses!

Haters should get a new theme. They have found every conceivable way to shite on CEO, the team and the other coaches. But they will still continue as it has always been sweet to say, "See I told ya so." It's like crack, I guess.

While some are over the top most are rational. Their is no way LSU should ever lose by 30 points to Mississippi State. I think people have had their purple and gold glasses taken off and realize what a bad hire was made. Just think about this. LSU a top 10-12 program in college football history. Fired a coach with a near 80% win percentage and replaced him with a guy whose only HC job last 3 years in a complete failure. We hired a position coach from the staff of the coach that was fired. The only reason that was given for the hire by the AD was that Orgeron wanted the job. Really? that is your qualification? Now they are stuck with a another stupid buy out if they ever decide to make a move. Recruiting will get worse also. From the minute he was hired SEC coaches were negative recruiting. Kids like O but they do not have faith in him as a HC. The dude has no track record. I wish it would work out but will not and you know and everyone else does too.

Ive checked the rant about 10 times since Sunday. Saw the front page threads titles and checked out. This place is an egregious overreacting shithole and won't get any better until we beat Florida. Will still be bad but that will ATLEAST make it readable again.

I agree to the point that I'm glad you made this thread.

A lot of factors that are difficult to control, at least from the coaches perspective, were the main cause of the loss, penalties and dumb mistakes at crucial times for one.

Funny thing here is, it only boils down to a hundred or so vocal people but social media amplifies it so much more.

I would say most people fall in that middle ground, don't you think?

These moral superiority threads are humorous

I don't think I've ever stated O should be fired after this one game. My opinion all along has been that idiot Alleva should've never hired him.

Actually, I asked if Wisconsin having 3 losses in two consecutive years would be considered "acceptable" as "rebuilding" here at LSU in the SECW.

Actually, you asked if Wisconsin going 10-3 and 9-3 in consecutive years would be acceptable at Lsu, conveniently leaving 2 of their wins off of last year.

And the answer to your question is obvious, and probably too logical for you to understand. Wisconsin has had 38 losses in 11 years since bielma took over for Alvarez, averaging out to right around 3.5 losses per year. Chryst has averaged 3 losses per year. Ergo, logic shows that Wisconsin has not had to suffer a rebuild with a new HC and new OC, as you guaranteed they would.

quote:

Clearly by your standards noting Wisconsin (and Oklahoma), it would be, which is pretty much what we are on pace for right now.

Again, you purporting to represent a "logical" argument is truly hilarious.

I just wish people would realize teams have bad nights and lose, no we should not have lost like that but it happened now lets move on and hope the coaches get their head out of their asses and we can make a 10-2 push

It almost always is after a game. If we beat Sam Houston St soundly, the "we goin' to the 'ship!" crowd comes out loud and proud. If we almost lose, the "heads need to roll" folks show up. It's always egregious overreacting.

Florida State, USC, and Penn State all got blown out last year. It's how you respond to getting destroyed. I'm not giving up on a season because of one loss. There is talent on this team but we are just inexperienced and it showed Saturday. People acting like their life as a football fan is over because of one loss. We got down big and just gave up. There is a lot of football left to be played people
