Check in if you think 95% of the shite posted on trant the past few days has been completely insane, embarrassing, and illogical shitposting.

I am trying to gauge whether or not I'm crazy and/or need to check out until the crazies go back to whatever rock they came from under.

pretty illogical to call the season over and pack your bags as a fan after week 3....but that kind of loss to Moo state warranted some anger reactions...so I guess I'll go 50%

So now on September 19 we should hope to lose the next 9 games and go 2-10?

Mississippi State's biggest win against a ranked team since 1943

LSU's worst loss to an unranked opponent since 1942

LSU's worst loss to Mississippi State ever

General rule of thumb, anyone asking about Orgeron's buyout is an idiot. Like him or not, better get used to him and hope for the best because you're stuck with him.

I would suggest your use of the word logical in your title might be a little misleading given the emotional beatdown of last weekend. I would suggest the term "reasonable" instead

No, we are stuck with this guy now so i hope for the best but the chances of LSU winning out this season or only losing 1 or 2 more games are much lower than the chances of them going winless or winning only 1 or 2 games in the SEC this season based on the level of play demonstrated on Saturday.

This was a mistake hire when it was made, a lot of us knew it and after the first real test of the season i see nothing to make me think myself and others were wrong in thinking that.

Your meltdown is somewhat disturbing.

I think what might make you feel better in the short term is to post some of your feelings on the SEC Rant. Few things get as many "upvotes" or complimentary responses from Gumps,Hogs and Aggies as an LSU fan posting over there and trashing their own team.

I think the positive reaction from other SEC fans would make you feel better.

We need to plant Hugh Freeze's burner phone in Ed's desk.

Team playing with no heart, concerning.
We are failing to execute when given the opportunity for big plays, concerning.
We are incredibly un-disciplined, concerning.
Our OL/DL are getting blown off the ball, concerning.

To name a few quickies.

Well, the people blindly supporting O need to wake up to reality. The people that think he is just going to go away quickly and cheaply need to wake up as well.

Unfortunately, we are going to have to muddle through. I hope O, staff and players can turn this around, but am not optimistic that it will occur. We have some weaknesses that were exposed at State and they will not be fixed in one season or overnight.

It's illogical to think that Ed Ogeron will be fired mid-season. It's probably illogical to think he would be fired at the end of this season (the $12 million buyout is the biggest evidence of that)

It's not illogical to question if Ogeron is the right guy for the job in light of:

(A) His prior stint as a HC, which was dreadful
(B) There was absolutely zero demand for him as a HC from any other power conf. school BUT LSU
(C) He just lead his LSU team to the worst loss against MSU in nearly 120 meetings between the schools.
(D) His players looked completely unmotivated and very undisciplined for the 3rd straight game.

It's crazy to say "fire him today!" But it's equally as crazy to bury your head in the sand and think there aren't some potential warning signs of a program collapse (relatively speaking)

It's not illogical at all to recognize a problem.

No one is pulling AGAINST LSU or O. To suggest that, after the coaching debacle that was the last 2 season, those who recognize we have a serious deficiency at HC is illogical is pretty illogical on it's own. In fact, it's those that do not see the writing on the wall that are illogical.

We just got skull fricked, by fricking Moo State, looking worse than we have at any point in the last decade. The fans were sold on hiring O because he would "avoid" any rebuilding and having a team that would compete for championships immediately.

So please, tell me how recognizing a problem is illogical?

I don't like we lost but I am not going to bitch and post in the same redundant threads that keep popping up.

This board has been terrible since Saturday evening. Not even fun to be on.
