see made during the spring and fall camps.

1. Put in packages that allows RS to throw from the Wildcat formation as well as packages for him to operate under center.

2. Gid rid of running the option to the short side of the field with JJ. If they choose to run that play, let RS do it.

3. Create plays where Deangelo Petterson is in the slot. I would love to see him matched up 1 on 1 against a safety.

Create a blocking scheme and play that has some sort of a resemblance of a running game that can get 3 or 4 yds no matter what.

All very good suggestions.

Mine is:
1. Fire Crowton. His 3 yr expiration date is up.

2. Put in the biggest OL we have. Which means benching T-Bob. T-Bob is an undersized guy with a rebuilt knee. I dont care how much these guys are squatting in the weight room, at the line of scrimmage they get no push.

Line up and run the plays without looking like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off.

Adjust/create blocking schemes.

Adjust/create pass rush and run-stop schemes.

an oc that studies the opponent and finds there weakness and makes our game plan acordinally.Play a two qb game untill we see who is the better qb and then go with him.Sacks are not always the offensive lines fault, sometimes its the qb.teach them something.make the other team respect either the run or the pass so the other will work.Give our defense a rest during the game

1. establish (and stick with) an offensive identity
2. utilize the talent that you have on the field to exploit your identity against your opponents weaknesses
3. do not try to make players and personnel fit the identity that you want (i.e., forcing JJ to be a running/option QB which he isn't)

3. move the pocket more with JJ. He just holds the ball way too long in a traditional pocket, and has less room to take off running. Also, he seems to throw well on the run/rollout when he is healthy.

1. Design plays for Shepard at QB. He was the number 1 dual threat QB in the country, no reason to have such little production. Run the wildcat, fake to Murphy, throw to a wide open Randle. I don't mind seeing Shepard at RB either, just don't line him up at WR. Keep him as a RB/QB.

2. Work on a power running game. When we need to get 2 yards for a first, we have to just line up, run up the gut and get those yards. I have confidence Ridley can do it. This is what was missing in our offense this year and this would help the defense a lot. I'm sick of Crowton calling a 3 yard pass play on 3rd and 5 missing the 1st down.

3. Take advantage of mismatches. We will have two 5* WRs, Toliver and Randle, I'm sure somewhere there will be mismatches. Exploit them, use fade routes, Jefferson seems to do very well on them (unless its called on the 1 yard line ) yet we rarely call that play.

Most important, stick with what is working, make the defense stop it!

With everyone in the whole Milky Way Galaxy knowing what's going to happen, for once - DON'T run straight up the middle on 3rd and 1 or 4th and 1.
Instead, pitch out (TO THE WIDE SIDE!), use Jefferson or Shepard in fake plunge/keepers, do naked bootlegs, or throw to the TE on sliding-line-of-scrimmage throws or misdirection roll-outs.

Keep Shepard, Ford (Seastrunk?) Toliver, and Randle on the field at all times.

1. Work very hard on pass blocking and picking up the blitz -- we need time to throw and time for our receivers to get downfield
2. Work on running mis-direction plays and passing crossing routes, the types of plays that we have trouble defending
3. Throw to the tightend

1) When something is working, don't abandon it.

2) When something is obviously not working, quit trying to do it.

3) Develop the talent you have. You run out of new recruits after a while. Someone has to improve, sometime.

All those are good ideas, but moot points until the biggest problem is corrected, which is improving the blocking of the offensive line either through personnel changes and/or a different blocking scheme. Until the play of the offensive line improves, it is not going to matter who is calling plays, what formations are run, or who is playing at the skill positions.

1. Establish a running game. That's gonna take revamping an undersized OL.
2. Utilize the FB out of the backfield for short passes.
3. Work screens/draws against aggressive defenses.Take what the defense is giving you. We don't need the homerun ball...5-7 passes if consistent will move the ball.

But the MAJOR number one thing: Control the line of scrimmage and the clock. This will provide time for defense to recuperate and be the menace they need to be!
